English country garden flowering, with a modern twist.

Kate came to us with an image of one of our previous bouquets as her guiding inspiration. From here we worked the designs up with September flowers, to create full tablescapes of flowers bowls and candles, with all the beautiful details arranged by .

Due to inclement weather the ceremony was moved inside where we created the feature urn displays which became the focal decoration framing the top table, for the seated meal.

Detail driven design. Getting those seemingly small elements right translates into an effortlessly stylish wedding.

For Kate and her bridesmaids we selected flowers and silk ribbons to reflect their dresses, from across the palette of warm terracottas, toffees and corals, to antique rose and soft pinks, with nudes and champagnes.

Captured beautifully here by at in September.

Creating a wedding is about building relationships. Finding the right suppliers who you connect with, trust and you know will make the right decisions for you in unexpected situations. It's about communication and understanding. And this means more than a transactional exchange of emails - this is about phone conversations and physical meetings, emotional connection and nuance. We always prefer a phone call to messages and emails, if you want to know 😉.

I'm currently working on designs for two weddings this year, with a wedding stylist who is new to us. It's always exciting to make new connections in the industry and to be found by a stylist who puts in the groundwork to find the right suppliers for their clients.

For one of these clients I needed a visual summary of the flowers we grow which are in bloom in September, knowing these will be the perfect fit with the client's palette. Bingo, found the one I was after, and here it is!

Welcoming in 2025 with some very heartwarming images full of floral print dresses and delicate, summery soft yellow blooms from July last year.

Here, the Sophie Bouquet, bridesmaids' bouquets and an usher taking his role very seriously (or just keeping stock-still to prevent any buttonhole injuries 😉)).

Reflecting on an incredible 2024 wedding season as we enter the winter months of business planning and reflection, alongside designing and preparing for our 2025 clients.

The often unseen part of our work are the people who make it all happen - our freelance florists who work long and early hours, travelling around the south west with us and making everything beautiful.

Many thanks to each one of you - Marta, Steph, Caroline, Demelza, Emily, Roberta, Claire, Alice, Anna and Katie.

The Phoebe Bouquet

Step back from the high impact visuals of P&T's marquee tent and decorations (previous post) and zoom in with me on Phoebe's bouquet and enjoy the detail of each stem.

Together Phoebe and I put a lot of thought and consideration into her bouquet, including the late addition of raspberry pink to give more strength and depth. All made possible by the incredible September flowers available from our local growers.

By night and by day.

Whimsical marquee dressing for P&T September 2024.

We worked with over the winter to take this design idea from sketches and inspiration to a detailed and thought out working plan. With the installation mechanics marvellously executed by the Sperry Tents team, we wove our foliage lines to create this ethereal natural pattern.

As you can see, I've struggled to narrow down my selection from this beautiful Cornish wedding this September. These are just the black & whites 😁.

One of the most moving weddings of the year. My connection to the family started some years ago when we were based in Bray, Berkshire.

We packed P&T's flowers with Devon grown blooms and a sprinkling of imported roses, and totally embraced Phoebe and her mother's ideas for decorating the church ( not all shown here).
