In 2007 that dream became reality in the form of Dakshas Gourmet Catering. Daksha and her team provide a sought after range of services that include fine dining for weddings and corporate events at some of the UK’s most opulent venues. They run cookery classes for enthusiasts around the country and their home dining services are lauded as amongst the finest in the UK. Daksha herself has been extensively featured in the British food media. She offers other business a range of consultancy services, including recipe and menu development and training chefs in newly launched or established restaurants.

Celebrating Veganuary in style at 150 Holborn today with some utterly delicious food, courtesy of our caterers, The Genuine Dining Co. , and a celebrity chef takeover in our staff canteen from Masterchef finalist, Dakshas Gourmet Catering. 😋

Burnt Oak Community Food Bank will be open tomorrow - Thursday 12th October 2023 from 2pm till 4pm at St Alphage Church Hall.

If you are struggling at the moment and need a helping hand pop down tomorrow and we will do our best to support you/your family with a variety of fresh food provisions and non perishable items.

Despite a decline in donations the past month we will still do our best to deliver tomorrow's food bank.
It's rice week tomorrow so we will be encouraging our clients to incorporate as much fresh vegetables in their diet as well as fresh fruit, vegan ingredients as well as non veg items.

Did you know pears sliced thinly taste delicious in salads as well.

As the weather turns colder it's an ideal time to stock up on some home comfort ingredients such as potatoes, very versatile and delicious served as a side mash potatoes with finely chopped spring onions, jacket potatoes served with baked beans and grated cheese definitely feeds the soul on cold nights. 😍

We've created a delicious kofta recipe using baked beans and fresh vegetables - do check them out...they are delicious and so easy to prepare. Our BBC Masterchef Finalist Daksha Mistry has kindly shared this recipe on YouTube for you to create in the comfort of your home. 😋
