Our flower school building work is well underway and it is going to be extremely beautiful and I am meticulously writing about what we will teach. We will be doing both in person courses and online and it will go far beyond just how to assemble flower arrangements and much more into the mindset and techniques we as a studio use on a daily basis to interpret the briefs we are given and turn them into living breathing installations on a grand scale. Writing it makes me feel excited.
We are taking on a limited number of exquisite and beautiful jobs next year, all over the world and our path as a studio continues to twist, grow and change and I am so excited about what lies ahead x

I’m so sad not to be able to make it to see this years winter flowers exhibition , one of my favourite places, but fondly remembering our installation on the first year the garden museum put on this wonderful exhibition celebrating the romance of winter ingredients and what you can do with them. X

The thing that fascinates me about flowers is the extraordinary connection we human folk have to them, how we are drawn towards them in all the crucial moments of life. They soothe, they celebrate, they commiserate, they heal, they decorate, they nourish us- they are a part of every single day. I might write a book about it, I can picture it now. Today I fly to Italy to design an event which is all about feeling and connection, I am hugely excited and as always I feel so honoured to do this as my job x

It was the greatest honour to design and make the 2025 gateway to the greatest flower show in this country, commissioned by the and . I hope it was thought provoking and intriguing, I loved designing it.
In a few weeks we will be rebuilding it in a permanent position to live on and grow. X

Very excitingly our beautiful willow urns are soon going to be available to buy. They are based on an old willow urn that I found on my travels which was too badly damaged to use, so I had some made for our flowers and I now have the smaller size either side of our fire place in our cottage for logs and blankets.
Matching plinths also available soon. X

The apples have nearly all fallen and I feel mixed emotions about the start of winter. Here is our favourite structure bedecked with bespoke pelmets and beautiful flowers. I love tents so much, we even have one being made for our flower school next year. We are doing more and more with fabric and decorative painting as well as flowers, another dimension and they go so beautifully together. We created some medieval tents a couple of months ago (no photos allowed sadly) that were so magical and one of my favourite projects to date.
