📢 ⛔️ 𝗨𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗨𝗣𝗗𝗔𝗧𝗘…for anyone travelling from MANCHESTER AIRPORT:

🚘 National Highway has issued a warning to anyone flying from Manchester Airport throughout June, July & August, to leave extra time for travel after announcing that parts of the M56 between junctions 5 & 6 will be CLOSED during specific dates for resurfacing slip roads as well as replacing road markings and bridge joints 🚘

The dates, times and locations of the overnight closures (9pm to 5am, extended to 7am on Saturdays)

Westbound exit slip road at junction closed on Wednesday 17 July

We will build an all-lane running motorway on the M56 between junctions 6 and 8. This will provide increased capacity in a cost-effective way, maximising the use of the existing road.

This day is one I always dread. Coach MOT day. Don’t know why. But always do. I never need to because we take that good care of it, maintain it to the enth degree that it sails through. And today was no exception. Sailed through, clean bill of health. Good maintenance always pays off. DVSA Green Operator and proud of it

The back story to this is, we were tagged into a post about an airport return transfer. I messaged the person concerned, as I always do. They responded with dates and times. There were 4 of them and the return was Sunday night - Monday morning landing at 01:30. I gave my price but didn’t hear anything back.
I was woken up at 03:00 on Sunday morning by a rather apologetic Mr Watts. His return transfer hadn’t turned and no answer from the phone number. He had my information still on messenger and didn’t know what else to do.
40 mins later we were there picking them up and returning them home. He hadn’t used us as the company he booked with were cheaper. In the end, he paid me full return fare. Would not take No for an answer.

Hi. I want to thank you so much for what you did for my mum and dad. This was above and beyond expectation. They would have really been stuck without your kindness. You have a new customer with them now and with us. I will make sure that our family and friends use you from now on. Thank you so much.

So today we had that there Sister Sledge on board. As you do. I was taking them to Manchester airport after their UK tour. No sledges or nuns (Peter Kay) to be seen 😁. Nice people though

For anyone concerned about travelling by car, just an update on out policy.
We are doing all we can to keep our passengers are as safe as we can. Our vehicles are wiped down internally with anti bac wipes or dettol.
When we pick you up and drop you off, we open and close doors for you and if any of our passengers would like a window open, we will do it from the front.
You do not actually need to touch anything. We even have a contactless card reader to take payment, which is also wiped down.

If you feel you must travel, if you are unsure. Give us a shout.

Please note, our coach and minibus at not operational at this time
