It's been an action packed few weeks. I finished work on Dungeons and Dragons, turned 30 and filmed one of the most magical weddings EVER.

North Down Museum has kicked off its Reflect and Progress series titled ‘NI100: Our Borough, Our People’ highlighting some of the many talented folk who have called Ards and North Down their home over the last 100 years. This would normally be the time that I would say my diary for next year’s weddings is now open, but unfortunately due to the ongoing circumstances I won’t be taking any new wedding bookings. Commercial work will continue where possible but the future is still very uncertain.

Life is really uncertain for everybody at the minute. As a member of the self-employed massif I genuinely don’t know what’s going to happen to my business over the next few weeks and months. Rather than sit and worry about the future I decided to turn the news off for a bit and have some fun! 110% recommend acting like an eegit to manage anxiety.

I'm Jill, the 'seer' behind Sightseer.
Film has always been one of my great loves, and I'm delighted that I'm now able to combine my passion with my purpose.
For me, there’s something about film that can’t fully be captured in words. I think of the times when I’ve lost loved ones, how pictures of them become precious, but film becomes transcendent. To have their smile, their walk, their presence on film, is to have a little bit of their soul.
It is with that in mind that I go to work. My aim in all that I do is to faithfully capture what is unfolding before me, highlighting and preserving irreplaceable moments.
