Who else loves a confetti shot?
February, we’re ready for you. Lockdown maybe in full swing, but I’ve received a handful of wedding requests. There’s hope yet we’re moving to a brighter future 🤞🏼🤞🏼
Patiently waiting for normality over here 👀
Happy New Year everyone, here’s hoping 2021 is back to being filled with flower and love 💕
There aren’t any rules in how big you go 🙌🏼
With a little help from The Bath Flower School 🙌🏼
Green is my favourite colour 💚
Eighteen days to go 🤶🏻
First wreath of the year 🙌🏼
Gorge silk velvet ribbon from Wrekin Hill Textiles 😍
We only talk about Christmas now 🤶🏻
I haven’t forgotten about Christmas Wreaths I promise.🤶🏻
Usually at this time of year I’m busy hunter gathering for workshops. With everything going on, I have made the decision to not hold any workshops.
Instead I’m taking the time to learn new tips and tricks.
This year I’m attending a workshop The Bath Flower School and I can’t wait. Christmas 2021 better watch out 🙌🏼
Emily & Matthew featured this week in Alternative Wedding Magazine
It’s always a little bit of a pinch me moment when we see our flowers featured on blogs, magazines and websites.
Their day was packed of colour which Photography By Vicki captured perfectly. 🙌🏼
Emily’s bridal hand tie was filled with beauties from Far Hill Flowers I love that moment of collecting from Justine. She always gets it just right 💕
Weddings are looking a little different at the moment.
Working with Emily & Matthew to create these colourful blooms last year was rather dreamy 💕
Beautifully captured by Photography By Vicki and now featured in Alternative Wedding Magazine 🙌🏼🙌🏼
A pop of colour on this cold, wet October...

It’s no secret that we’ve missed weddings this year. And who knows when or if weddings will return to what we knew before?
As a bride to be, the stress and uncertainty over the next few months is becoming a little bit much. 🤦🏻♀️
But we’re here, whether you have a future wedding planned with me or you just want to moan about the ever changing restrictions I’d like to hear from you.
Let’s keep talking, let’s keep making noise 🙌🏼🙌🏼
So we’ve been a little quiet of late.
Why?
Well, there is so much noise!
And actually now is the time for us to come back and make more noise .
The whole industry has been paralysed, under valued and left behind. Brides, grooms, florists, photographers, venues, caterers, make up artists, hair stylists, the list goes on. We’ve all been let down.
What can we do? Make noise, share
Everything in this photo is perfection 💕 Congrats to Princess Bea

So many couples have already been affected, the usual thriving industry is at an all time low.

IMPORTANT COVID19 UPDATE

I have just published the most important article ever on Love My Dress. Please read it ASAP (grab coffee, it's long):
⠀⠀⠀⠀
LINK IN BIO
Or, lovemydress.net/whataboutweddings
This update follows months of conversations and consultations with brides, couples, suppliers, industry leaders, and more recently, a number of MP’s. I’ve been working very hard behind the scenes these past few months with , also .queens and . We've recently taken those conversations to wider industry, with colleagues like and . We've sought consultation from a broad and inclusive selection of industry leaders in deciding how we move forward in this crisis with inclusivity and not a 'one size fits all' approach.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
The wedding industry is serious business and worth over £10bn to the UK economy annually. It’s estimated £3billion has been lost this season already. 500,000 + jobs are at risk.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Tens of thousands of couples remain in the dark and have had to postpone or (sadly) cancel their wedding day. The impact on their mental health has been gigantic.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
I understand this article is a hard read, but feel it’s only fair that we're honest and that everyone understands the reality of the current situation. Crucially, any guidelines given MUST take into account the diversity and complexity of weddings of all faiths and cultures.
We are an industry of creative problem solvers who aren't standing by idly. We urge you now to stand together with us.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s time to push harder and campaign.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
Couples, suppliers, venues - we all need to have our individual voices heard.
⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s time to stand up for the freelancers, sole traders, small businesses and consumers who together NEED a roadmap to recovery and guidance on how to plan ahead for these incredibly important and meaningful celebrations. We need solutions that work for all weddings. We all need the same thing – clarity and choice.

Thank you ❤️
With all the uncertainly around weddings and celebrations. I’ve taken joy in building my very own wedding mood board.
Usually for my brides I work around Pinterest boards, where we can both add ideas. I love how a mood board creates a bigger visual picture and brings it all together 💕
It’s been a while since we made something new 🤷🏻♀️
When can we make beautiful flower crowns again? 🤷🏻♀️
Happy Father’s Day to all the daddy’s 💕
📷
Name a hand tie where we didn’t use a Dahlia, we can’t think of one 🤷🏻♀️

Those perfect wedding day moments 💕
It’s British flower week 💕 these beauties were from Far Hill Flowers last year ready for Emily & Matt’s wedding. I aim to use 90% British grown flowers in all my wedding work. I always feel extremely lucky to have Justine on my doorstep 💕💕
Look at those Peonies 🥰
📷
How gorgeous is Heidi wearing that crown?
We thought we’d share this one as Edd Taylor shared his photography from Heidi & Danny’s big day.
I jump with joy when I know Ed is photographing weddings where I’ve created the flowers. His photos capture everything perfectly 🙏🏼

New branding, who dis?
Because right about now we all need some colour and joy 💕
📷
There’s no wholesalers open and we’re restricted from visiting our lovely local flower farms.
The sunshine makes it so much easier to get out and see what’s on your doorstep.
That Blossom will drop by tomorrow but for now it’s pretty 💕
Hello everyone 🖐🏼
I’ve been a little quiet of late & completely rubbish at updating my social media pages.
After a busy Christmas and lots of personal change in 2019, I was super excited for 2020.
But if I’m honest 2020 hasn’t been that great so far, for many reasons including now this horrid virus.
Alongside a demanding full time job and everything else life throws at you, I’ve still been thinking about my floral journey. Though I may remain quiet, I’m still answering emails, messages and taking enquires & bookings for future weddings.
So please don’t be a stranger, get in touch. & lets hope 2020 turns a corner and we’re back to normal pretty soon
A x

Extremely lucky to have Annabel join us at Rudry Parish Hall on Sunday.
Gave such a festive vibe and all the lovely wreath makers loved her festive singing 🎄🎄
On Sunday and Monday I had two lovely gigs at the Rudry Parish Hall for the Wreath Making Workshop and The Lunch Club. Thank you DWR Lunch Club and Villages Group and Mae Floral Design for having me preform a few songs at your event
