I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to post this fantastic wedding of two wonderful humans!

Tom and Tristan’s wedding at Kimbolton Castle celebrated their love in a place close to their hearts, with British meadow-inspired installs to showcase the dry heat of July.

For music lovers T&T, .singing.waiter.masters were a huge hit, breaking into song over lunch, and - side note - what could be more fabulous than performing your own ABBA tribute act (with your Best Women) to kick off the party?!

Emma and Val’s beautiful wedding at Cissbury Barns was my fave combo of wholly heartfelt, fun, and completely beautiful.

Just all about the compote cases at the moment for these glorious tulips. Foraged azaleas (from PLENTY) bringing SO much colour-and I love that gorgeous little aquilegia in the middle!

Summer

It’s done for this year! Less cottage garden, English rambling blooms…and more dark, luscious, romantic, deep autumnal shades. I love watching one season change into the next…it’s a reminder that it’s time to crack on for autumn though!

Happy first of September!

End of summer or beginning of winter?
I know my mind is moving towards the darker days and the nights drawing in, and the jobs I have looming…gathering, drying, planning. I love sunshine but I have to say I have a place in my heart for pumpkin soup and getting cosy in front of the fire too!
Of course floristry doesn’t stop as the summer ends, either. British blooms are exciting and beautiful year-round, with a little imagination, creativity and knowledge. I love off season weddings!
