🌿 You get in touch - either by filling out the contact form on my website or sending me an email - with a few key
details such as your wedding date, guest numbers and location

🌿 We will schedule an initial consultation to chat through your wedding plans, get to know each other and talk about the level of support you need
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿 Following our call I'Il share my fee schedule and T&Cs, and once a deposit has been paid, I'Il confirm your date in
my diary
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿 You’ll have my input at the beginning of our time together, where I will offer advice and ideas for elements you might be struggling with, and supplier recommendations for any outstanding areas
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿 Around 6 weeks before your wedding date we'll have an in-depth planning meeting where we’ll go over absolutely everything in detail, and you can hand over the admin to me.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🌿 At this point, I’ll become the main point of contact for your suppliers, will help you to draw up timelines and schedules for the day, and will advise and assist on any aspects or details that may have been overlooked in your planning

🌿 On the day itself I'll be there to discreetly coordinate your suppliers, manage the logistics of the day and make sure that everything is exactly as you want it!

I often get asked how I got in to wedding planning, and truth be told, I've always been a planner at heart! Prior to launching my business I spent almost a decade as an Executive Assistant to senior investment bankers who had jam-packed schedules, travelled all over the world and quite frankly, didn't have time for "fluff".
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I was spinner of many plates, and being able to overcome logistical challenges and attention to detail were paramount.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All of the skills I learnt during that period have followed me in to my role as wedding planner - it’s the kind of job that my detail-obsessed personality thrives on.

I hope that you had a wonderful festive break and the new year is off to a good start... I switched off earlier than planned due to getting stuck in Iceland the week before Christmas, and we've been plagued with illness since, but it was lovely to spend some quality time with friends and family when we could.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am officially back in the office from next week and am looking forward to getting back to a proper routine and catching up with clients and suppliers for the coming months.

But I find that the hallmarks of an Aster & Gold wedding or party tend to be an abundance of fragrant flowers, a setting close to the great outdoors – whether a marquee in a private garden or the grounds of a venue, or a country house with its own stunning gardens – and a focus on fine food and drink.

Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend. I went from back to work vibes to taking an extended weekend off as we took a surprise trip away with family to celebrate my Dad's milestone birthday, which was lovely!

2021 saw us going from 0-100 in general life as well as weddings, and to be quite honest it left me feeling burnt out (like so many of us in the wedding industry!). My biggest takeaway from it, is that you may not be able to control what's happening around you, but you can control how you respond and as a result of this I am coming into 2022 with the intention of having more balance in business and personally 💫

So excited to share this little sneak peek from last week's shoot with you 💜
I spent the day at the magnificent alongside a fabulous team who pulled out all the stops to create something magical ✨
Huge thanks to the team who helped to bring the vision together, battled the weather, but also made it the most enjoyable day - the perfect way to ease myself back in to work outside of my office ahead of my wedding season, which officially kicks off this weekend!

Wedding Day Coordination is a popular service, especially with couples who are having a marquee or dry-hire venue, that provides a happy medium if want to plan your own wedding, before handing over the reins of responsibility to a coordinator who will ensure the smooth running of the day itself.

What's the process?
💫 You get in touch - either by filling out the contact form on my website or sending me an email - with a few key details such as your wedding date, guest numbers and location
💫 We will schedule a phone consultation to chat through your wedding plans, get to know each other and talk about the level of support you need.
💫 Following our call I'll share my fee schedule and T&Cs and once a deposit has been paid I'll confirm your date in my diary.
💫 4-6 weeks before your wedding date we'll have our handover meeting - this is your opportunity to offload your admin and enjoy the run-up to your big day.
💫 I'll be there on the day to discreetly coordinate your suppliers, manage the logistics of the day and make sure that everything is exactly as you envisioned.
