We are hiring part time staff for marquee builds and take downs. Applicants start 16th May - with work available until end of September.
- 2 - 3 days a week - some weeks are busier than others, also opportunities for days or weeks off for summer holidays.
- 8-12 hour shifts
- access to a car due to location is ideal however we can offer lifts from certain locations on Carlisle.
- Pay starting @ £10.50 per hour - £13 per hour depending on age/ experience. Although prior experience is not a necessity.
- ideal for students or anyone looking for part time work.
- the job role does require a certain level of physical fitness as there is lifting and carrying involved.

Our flooring system was required for this wedding, allowing the bride to have her dream wedding at her family home.
The marquee floor was mainly between 3ft and 7ft off the ground. We use a laser on our site visits to accurately work out the floor level.

So pleased with our new website, we have now added a hire page, this allows you to add items to a wish list for your event which can then be sent as a quote request.

We still have a couple of dates left for 2023 and are taking enquiries for 2024.

One of our marquee weddings in August featured this clear Hip roof over our mirror round bar. The Bride also went for alternate clear roof in the dining area paired with a white flat sheet lining. Can’t wait to see some official photos from this wedding all decorated.

Back in August we built this beautiful marquee for 120 guests in Newcastle.
There was no vehicle access to this site, so every component was carried through into the garden.
We love the stepped entrance between the Silver Burch trees.

WE ARE HIRING FOR SUMMER 2022

• Hours: Work hours depend on bookings, you should expect a minimum of 30 hours up to 60 hours a week. Days are long in the high season. Weekend work is occasionally required but rare. We do have a build schedule which will be handed to you at the start of the season which is usually 90% accurate. This is a summer seasonal role starting end of April and ending first week in October.

• Reports to: Marquee Foreman

• Responsibilities: To work as part of an experienced team
erecting and taking down marquee structures on site; to load marquees and equipment at our yard and reload on site at the end of a job; to clean equipment after an event and a thorough end of season clean down.

• Experience: welcome, but not necessary, we will be providing training at the start of the season.

• You will need to be: hardworking, practical, punctual! and enthusiastic. You will also be the sort of person who enjoys working as part of a team. We pride our self on the quality of our marquees and service, you will need to maintain that by ensuring your work is carried out to the highest standard.

• Desirable: HGV licence is very desirable or experience with towing. Your own car or bike, this is mainly to get to work as we are not located near any public transport

• Pay: Starting at £10 up to £13.50 an hour plus end of season bonus based on number of hours worked.
