“We got married in September ‘24 and had the best day of our lives at Haybales farm! Obviously, that’s because we got married but being in a perfect setting really helped with that feeling. We always wanted to get married outdoors and as soon as we found Haybales we knew it was the place for us.”

*** Wildflowers & Bows

I loved, loved, loved working on this cake for Sunday’s styled shoot at Haybales Farm. When the theme chosen was wildflowers I had an excuse to show off my Flower Crown. And when I met Fleur & Mark, I took take a trip to to see what wildflowers I could pick. Oh my heart was full.

Initially the bottom tier was going to be wood panels but I wanted to try something new to me and my recent obsession with wafer paper popped into my mind.

Bows were then mentioned (a lot) because you know it is bang on trend at the moment and boom…. the acryllic tier made an appearance!

From start to finish, this cake has been a journey of love and discovery. And this is what I love about my job!
