🌟 **Volunteers Needed for Weymouth Carnival Funday!** 🌟

Join us for a day of fun and festivities at the Weymouth Carnival Funday, and help make this event a huge success! We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to assist with various activities and ensure a fantastic experience for all attendees.

📅 **Date:** 14th August 2024
🕓 **Time:** 10 AM - 8 PM
📍 **Location:** Redlands Leisure and Community Hub

Whether you can spare a few hours or the whole day, your support will be greatly appreciated. Duties may include setting up stalls, assisting with games, managing information booths, and much more.

Hello Everyone,

Unfortunately Mark has had to take a step back from the Weymouth Carnival Dance Company meaning their won't be any sessions until further notice.

Mark is currently dealing with commitments in his personal life which are out of his control; this prevents him from doing what he loves, which is supporting you amazing dancers! 💃

It's been an absolute pleasure having Mark with The Weymouth Carnival C.I.C. He's got the energy that everyone loves and has been an outstanding asset and an inspirational figure towards the team and towards the youngsters who have loved the taster sessions.

We are currently searching for another Choreographer to take Mark's place until he is ready to come back.

In the meantime, the committee wants to thank all of the attendees at our sessions in the past and specifically Mark who volunteered his time to come down and train the dancers.

The dance company is not closing down so please look out for further updates and thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately a family member was rushed into hospital early hours of the morning.

A huge thank you to everybody that attended the taster classes today, it was just amazing. I was so proud to have taught you all and there was so much positive and dynamic energy in the room. As you know we sadly had to postpone this weekends Weymouth Carnival Dance Taster but we’re excited to announce that we are back for another session on Sunday 3rd March.

We are really looking forward to welcoming both new and previous participants to our fun and upbeat dance classes with the aim to form our Weymouth Carnival Dance Company for up and coming performances and carnival & event showcases.

DANCE TASTER POSTPONED

I am so sorry to inform you that we have had to postpone the Weymouth Carnival Dance Taster Classes on Sunday 18th February.
This is due to the dance competition being held at Weymouth College which is scheduled for the same day.
I will update you within the next couple of days as to the new taster day date.

WE’RE BACK 😃

It will be our last taster session before we start rehearsals for a few up and coming performances as our new , exciting and all inclusive Weymouth Carnival Dance Company.
We would like to welcome back those fantastic attendees from our last taster day and can’t wait to share the fun with new joiners.
Anybody can come along and for adults, any standard is welcome, all we ask is you have a love of dance and up for fun.
