The Willow Grange Farm Wedding Showcase! 🥂

On Saturday 15th April 10:00 - 16:30 come and experience our rural elegant venue dressed in all its finery with our Sperry tent, rustic oak pagoda, breath-taking silo barn and fantastic accommodation all set up as they might be for a wedding.

Come and meet our friendly, expert team who will be on hand to answer any questions you might have and imagine what your incredible day at Willow Grange Farm could be. We have a selection of fantastic recommended suppliers and with the bar and food truck serving during the event you can make a day of it while relaxing and enjoying the beautiful surroundings as you discuss your wedding!

A reminder to get your tickets for our spectacular New Year's Eve party. On Saturday 31st Decmeber our beautiful Balcony Room will be hosting 3 hours of live music from Dance Away Bespoke Party Bands - as seen at the Fen Edge Festival. Ticket price includes a light buffet. The party starts at 8pm and we'll kick off the night with a contemporary ceilidh - guaranteed to get everyone up and dancing!

Talent is not a substitute for hard work.

We work with some amazingly talented musicians - but that’s not the reason we work with them.

✨ You could be the best musician in the world, but refuse to rehearse as many hours as needed.

✨ You could have the best voice in the world, but not be happy working in a team.

✨ You could be pitch perfect, but not understand what a client wants and tailor a setlist for them.

✨ You could be the slickest guitar player, but not realise that setting up a stage to look good is a really important part of the service.

✨ You could be a great band leader, but not have the ability to create a full sound to a tight sound limiter.

✨ You could have the most expensive PA system, but not understand how to create the right style of music for a particular atmosphere.

It’s more than just being able to play good music ⭐️

Over the next 3 days our musicians are:

Performing 112 (different!) songs

Delivering 10 hours of live music

Showcasing vocals, drums, double bass, standard bass, soprano sax, tenor sax, keys, acoustic guitar and electric guitar

Providing live music for a cocktail bar, a business birthday party, a drinks reception and a wedding reception.

The work our musicians do behind the scenes is even more impressive than the performance they deliver on stage.

Liaising with clients to create the perfect set list for their event, rehearsing to sound and space limitations, arranging songs to suit requests and putting a bespoke spin on each performances.

Excited to see it all come together!

The build up to a big gig - what we do!

We are so excited to be providing 4 hours of live music for a gorgeous wedding this Saturday. Here are some of the processes we go through before we get there.

📝 SETLIST - working with the couple to build a list of songs that they love, and working with the band to make sure the performance flows properly and keeps everyone on the dance floor.

🎼 ARRANGING - our bandleader works out how the songs are going to be performed. Which instrument plays what, which key to sing in etc. This is where we build our medleys and mash-ups!

🥁 REHEARSALS - the band have been practicing all year any way, but we have specifically been focusing on the first dance song and any specific requests of the client ahead of the event.

🚚 LOGISTICS - it’s not all about the music, making sure that the correct sound and light equipment, and the right people are in the right place at the right time and ready to rock.
