Yesterday I was doing an arrangement in a church when the choir appeared complete with organist and conductor for a practice session .. it was just wonderful snipping away whilst listening to them singling . They repeated some of the best parts too which made it even better . It really was ‘Music while you work’ and Music to my ears ‘ fantastic .

Beautifully big and full of wonderful foliage. Wreath making is such a happy task as you get so many gorgeous colours and textures to work with . The feel of the shiny holly ( lol use gloves 🙄) the coarseness of the cypresses and the rich colours of the variegated stems is fabulous. Now the messy bit making up the mossy wreath .. err .. umm .. now that I’m so keen on ! But like so many things in life it’s a means to bc an end !

When some of the little heads of a spray of roses fall off don’t get alarmed or upset . They’re wonderful to use in tiny vases or even spice jars . If I’m flowering a wedding then of course they’re perfect for flower crowns or for wiring onto bouts or corsages.

The new one on the scene. I rather like it 🥰. It’s just wonderful to dabble in totally our home grown organically grown Sussex foliage and bring it together to fashion a Christmas wreath . I’m increasingly only using our own locally grown produce and wow it’s a wonderful feeling !
