The garden centres are filling up with beautiful bedding plants, don’t be tempted to plant any yet the soil & air temperature is to cold, remember your hanging baskets can be ordered now, Happy Easter everyone 🐣🐣🐣

Been busy ordering my summer bedding plants, so exciting.
Another 🥵 🥵 day forecast, keep deadheading, watering & feeding your baskets & troughs to prolong their life & enjoy their beauty until
September/October, enjoy the bank holiday.
Really pleased with my baskets & tubs this year, trying to insert some colour into an inherited grey garden. Also ordering my winter plants for September/October making of hanging baskets.
Phew another hot one, are you keeping up with the watering? Bee’s are loving my agapanthus twister at the moment, it’s covered in them.
My jubilee basket plus 2 others, baskets are beautiful but need care, water twice daily on very hot days or at least once daily, feed weekly. Tip, when you water your baskets fill up your watering can for the next time.

As the hot weather continues your hanging baskets may need watering twice daily to stop the plants getting stressed. Enjoy the weather & enjoy your baskets.

Busy day today, 30 baskets delivered to my customers, a few Otterton Mill, plenty of growing still to go, should be stunning in a few weeks.

I was Walking around a garden centre yesterday, watched people buying bedding plants. Please do not try planting them yet, the sun maybe shining but the ground is too cold & you need to protect them from the frost.
Lovely spring flowers coming through on a couple of my winter/spring baskets, all happening just as my summer bedding is due to arrive, so exciting.

Today I have been Christmas wreath making with a few other people @ our allotments, most of the bits I used came from my garden & allotment, such a lovely thing to do & surprisingly easy.
Stormy weather & turning cold over the next few days, ensure your tender plants are tucked away, succulents should be in a greenhouse & cover loosely with bubble wrap if it gets really cold, stay warm & safe. ☃️❄️💨☃️❄️💨☃️❄️💨
Busy day today doing my own garden, several troughs & hanging baskets are now out, this crazy weather means my summer baskets are still fab.
Hanging baskets planted with cyclamen, heather, dianthus, viola, lysimachia & primula, side planted with pansies & underpinned with dwarf daffodils. I have also planted naturalising bulbs in the earth & then covered with stones in front of my troughs, should look stunning in the spring.
Winter baskets in the glorious sunshine, cyclamen, Heather, dianthus, primula & pansies underplanted with dwarf daffodils delivered to Otterton Mill this morning, where great hanging baskets are accompanied by fantastic food & service.
Still looking lovely at the end of September, keep deadheading, watering & feeding yours, they can last through to November in sheltered spots.

Beautiful agapanthus twister, loved by the bees & keeps coming back year after year.
Just had some fabulous feedback from a new customer, “ hanging baskets are superb, we looked at some in Kings & Otter & ours are so much better, can I treble my order for next year “ wow just great feedback, photo’s will follow when I get them.
Another couple of stunning baskets, baskets would have needed extra watering in the recent hot spell but also remember to feed them to keep those blooms going.
