SKORPION'S MOLOTOV 2017 - 2019

Molotov has been quite the journey. I could have never expected that over 1200 people would show up to my very first event back in January last year. But like all good things, Molotov has to come to an end. I've been organizing these events on my own and after almost two years of doing so I feel that there's nothing left for me to add to the concept. I feel that the event is taking a toll on my creativity and motivation to keep going forward, which has been a strong sign to go ahead and explore new things.

That's why I have decided to call it quits on Molotov to go on and work on the things that I'm truly passionate about, which I will not specify here but which might be clear to you if you're a person that's close to me. However, I need to state that Molotov has had a huge impact on my life and has opened a million doors for my career. I'm working at an amazing agency, I've done an internship at an event company that I very much look up to and I've made dozens of valuable friends. It's something that I look back on with joy. I'm not sad because Molotov has come to an end. More so, I'm excited to go out on new adventures!

There's a reason for the title above. I'm currently in contact with several partners to try and keep Molotov going without me in the picture. Any update on that will be posted on the Molotov page. This change in Skorpion has no effect on our other events and we're looking forward to continue with our other projects.

I'd like to thank Eva, the programmer at the Paard venue in Den Haag who gave me the opportunity to realize Molotov. I'd like to thank Gopnik McBlyat who has supported the event throughout its entirety. I would like to thank AIennah who has been documenting Molotov for a long while. I would also like to thank all my friends, family, artists and partners who have worked on this event with me or who have supported. I'd like to thank every single fan who came down to these events and made them possible. And thank you for understanding my reasons for going on to do something else.

Last but not least, I'd like to thank my beloved friend Aleks, who showed me a stupid video of something called Hardbass a few years back that set everything into motion.

The events that are still up will still take place as planned and tickets are still available. The last Molotov hosted by Skorpion will take place on 27 December in The Hague.

Thank you for coming to Venom V // Deep Drum & Bass - Sold Out yesterday! This was one of our most-visited nights so far!

Unfortunately, Venom is temporarily taking a break. However, we will return! In the meantime, we will be working on our other unnanounced (bigger) projects behind the screens.
