This month, we welcome acclaimed harpist Zoe Anderton back to the library, for our November 'Music at Lunchtime' performance. Zoe's previous visits have always been extremely popular, so we would advise arriving in plenty of time to ensure a seat.
As always, our lunchtime concerts are free to attend, but donations to Friends of Woodbridge Library are much appreciated.

A joyful wedding today at the magical Butley Priory. I played this piece as the bridesmaids walked into the ceremony. It’s the love theme from the film ‘Cinema Paradiso’ by Ennio Morricone. A beautiful piece to play, Morricone writes the most magnificent melodies.

Today, it was a bit of a blustery day, but I fancied doing a little busking. As I pulled out the harp, I thought maybe this was a mistake. Nevertheless, I set up and started playing. I had some lovely responses from people walking by. Towards the end, a lady came over to buy one of my CDs. She was struggling a little to articulate herself, then gestured to her husband, who said she has MND. I said, this CD all goes to MND fundraising. She was so shocked and touched, she said she had just wanted to buy the CD, as she enjoyed the music, but was really grateful for the fundraising. It reminded me today of the faces behind the fundraising. This lady who is still walking, but her voice is deteriorating. It’s for her.

I’ll be playing in a string ensemble, some Vaughan Williams, this Thursday for a Memorial Concert in Norwich. Tickets are free for anyone that might like to hear some sublime music.

St Mary and St Botolph Church was today’s wedding location. This is my third Church wedding over the last few weeks. Beautiful weather! Bridal party walked down the aisle to ‘All My Life’ by K-Ci and Jo Jo.
