It was 7 years ago when we took over Active Monkeys. It was so lovely to meet all of you, and we are grateful for your support and friendship. In this period of time while we were here, a few changes have taken place in our lives, and we feel it is time to "pass the baton" to a new owner and try a new adventure. Lovely Anj will be the new owner of Active Monkeys. She has wonderful ideas for the play centre and plans to open on weekends. Please welcome her with all the affection that only you can give. Show her the wonderful community that we have here at Active monkeys. We will probably see you soon in our new adventure. Thank you everyone who have made these last 7 years so special for us.

Active Monkeys Play Centre will be closed on Monday 19th September as we observe the Bank Holiday for the state funeral of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. We will reopen as usual on Wednesday 21st September.

We would like to inform visitors to our play centre that we have no connection with Marks & Spencer's. We have appeared on the M&S National Days Out Network page where Sparks card customers can "purchase" tickets to our venue with their points. The only problem is, we know nothing about it. If you have any vouchers from them, please be aware that they are not valid here. Thank you.

Dear friends, since the Government has issued restrictions in regards to Covid-19, wearing masks will become obligatory from December 10th. Also, we would like to make you aware that we have continued to keep our premises rigorously sanitised by carrying out our periodic fogging, and cleaning the play centre with antiviral products 3 times a day (during breaks in-between sessions) has now become a habit.🙂 We ask you only to be compliant with the law and wear your mask unless exempt. Thank you very much for your continued support and cooperation.

As we all know the government has said that the laws around social distancing will be lifted as from Monday 19th July.
Sadly, we can all see COVID19 hasn't vanished and rates are increasing.
Throughout the crisis, Indoor Play Centres have met the highest standards to ensure our Customers and Staff are safe to such an extent that as far as we are aware there have been no attributed COVID outbreak in an Indoor Play setting.
From Monday, we have made the decision that we will still keep a lot of the enhanced guidance adopted during the last 16 months that have insured our play centre to be a safe place for you, your families and our staff.
We will continue with the booking system with play sessions and limited capacity in order to allow us to keep our cleaning regime in place in between sessions.
We kindly ask you that, if you can, please wear masks whilst assisting your child on the frame or walking around the centre, wash your hands or sanitize regularly, and please do not attend if you have covid symptoms.
We are trying to get to the 'new norm' in a way that is best for everyone and we know you will all help in this journey.

We are now taking party bookings, and these will be done as a private session. Moreover, it would be better if we could have limited adult attendance when possible.
