Stephanie and Lin were a dream couple, at once artistic, musical, deep thinking and emotive- a perfect blend that made it all too easy for me to produce a cinematic film which showcased, not only the beautiful and brutalist architecture of the Barbican, but also the couple’s live piano duet, performed together in front of their surprised family and friends. Playing the piece by Chopin together (which Lin re-wrote to work as a duet!) was an expression of their love, as it is something they did during the early days of their relationship and have continued to pursue ever since.
