The whole wedding videographer team will be out at weddings this weekend- Toby and Tom (and drone operator Micheal) back in Sicily (where this photo was taken) for a three day extravaganza and Ayla in France for a beautiful Dordogne wedding - it will be a weekend of Chateaus and Volcanos, rivers and seas and we can’t wait!

It was an honour that Katarzyna and Łukasz’s chose for both their wedding videography and photography. As a team of three (2 videographers and a photographer) we were able to capture their day in a visually cohesive and complimentary way. This is a preview of their photo gallery- their teaser film can be found on the grid too.

It was a pleasure to spend a few days in Warsaw with such a warm and genuine couple and I’m really pleased they loved both their photos and videos.

Alexander and Daniel flew over from the US for their wedding, choosing the lovely Le Manoir aux Quat’saisons for their day. They got ready together there in the morning, which gave me lots of great intimate moments for their film, before making their way to a stunning outside ceremony in the venues orchard, with a floral design by Lucy Vail Floristry. It was a beautiful ceremony with some great cultural touches and a reading of an Oscar Wilde piece by Daniel’s son.

After a drive in a classic car, the couple and guests made their way to dinner, which is obviously the pièce de résistance of the Michelin starred venue!

Their evening was filled with drinks, dancing and sparklers.

It was an emotional and classy day and I hope that comes across in these frames from their film.

As I’ve had some new 2024 followers I thought I’d show my face again. I’m Toby (that’s me on the right filming a stunning elopement in Corsica last year) owner of Handcraft Pictures. I’ve been filming weddings and elopements full time for 14 years now and have been lucky enough to travel all over the world doing so.

I love cinema and the whole experience of going to the movies and attempt to replicate that feeling in my work, creating “mini-movies” for all of my clients- a film worthy of being watched on a big screen.

I don’t want my films to follow fleeting social media trends, I want them to out last social media altogether if possible, by attempting to replicate the timeless quality of classic cinema.

Last year Vogue magazine ranked me in their top 3 UK wedding videographers and kindly said if you book with me: “you’ll be left with a film worthy of its own awards ceremony.”

As well as filming weddings and elopements I use my experience in the industry to run workshops for new videographers looking to take their work to the next level, and have a few exciting projects in the works for 2024.

When not travelling for work you’ll either find me in the park with my 4 year old son, at the cinema or at a live music or comedy gig.
