We love a private dining evening at 🙌

And this client chose a three course menu to impress, if we do say so ourselves 👀

Scallops in pancetta, chimichurri lamb shoulder, seabass fillet and smoked ox cheek 😋 topped off with sticky toffee pudding and apple crumble tartlet.

All of the trimmings, please 😋

Sending our congratulations to recently married, Tina and Stephen! We had the pleasure of catering for their wonderful wedding reception in Pembridge 🥳

A tasty traditional roast with all the trimmings, followed by sticky toffee pudding or white chocolate raspberry cheesecake.

We then created a buffet-style menu for the evening, with Behind bars on bar service!

..and to a stunning wedding at the beautiful Homme House this Saturday. It was a pleasure to cater for you both!

A very tasty three-course meal indeed 😋 with an antipasti sharing board starter, then for main a choice of Herefordshire beef sirloin or seasame seared tuna steak. Followed by dessert, a tarte tatin with vanilla ice cream, caramel sauce and pear chutney AND summer berries, chocolate mousse and candied walnuts to share.

Yesterday, we catered . Kirsty and Chris used and to style the venue. How stunning! They thought of everything. 🪩🌺

We curated a bespoke menu as the couple love Greek food.

To start -
Fried courgette balls with hummus
Or
Lamb kofta with Tahini

For main -
Marinated lemon and herb chicken souvlaki on skewers - with tabouli salad, feta, and mixed olives served with pitta bread 🤤

Last week we catered a beautiful day, for newlyweds Emily & Chris! So much fun, and a theme we couldn't resist sharing - how cute are the DINOS 🦖

The couple opted for a BBQ menu, to include:
🍔 The Lamborghini - Lamb kofta burger, pickled vegetables and tzatziki
🍔 All about the Beet - Beetroot burger, buffalo cauliflower and sour cream
With sides such as marinated halloumi, vegetable skewers, nachos and quinoa and MORE! 😋

A special shout out to the mother of the groom Deborah Gibbons, for the cake!

Party vibes and disco balls The Wholehouse 🪩

What a stunning and intimate wedding set-up for Jenna and Joe at The Wholehouse, one of our favourite venues set in the Welsh countryside!

The couple chose a fun sharing-style menu of smokey BBQ chicken fajitas with peppers and onions, served with tortilla wraps, chips, spicy mixed veg rice, lettuce, tomato salsa, cheese and mayo 😋 YUMMM!

Congratulations to newlyweds Kevin and Lauren 🎉 what a great day we had the pleasure of catering for in Aberedw,. It was a gorgeous set-up in a marquee provided by ⛺️

🍓The couple opted for a Pimms bar drinks reception with complimentary strawberries and cream as their canapés, very on theme for the month 👀 what a brilliant idea!

The couple chose from our BBQ menu, opting for two of our speciality burgers:
🍔 The pecking order - buttermilk-coated chicken breast, chorizo, slaw and cajun aioli
🍔 No beefing around here - traditional smashed patty, smoked bacon and cheese

Our BBQ menu always comes with two complimentary sides, four salads and homemade sauces. Sounds good, right? 😋

Planning a summer wedding? 😍We thought we would share some of our top tips for creating the perfect summer menu for your big day 🌞

👉🏼 Embrace seasonal flavours, making the most of fresh fruit and vegetables throughout your courses
👉🏼 Consider choosing light and refreshing options like a sharing board, cold canapes and sides of fresh vegetables and salads
👉🏼 Smaller portions tend to go down a treat on a warm day, think little but often

The sun made an appearance this weekend for Jess and Darren's wedding! 🌞

Another stunning day at The Haybarn Herefordshire, after a small and intimate ceremony, we had the pleasure of catering throughout the day.

The couple chose a three course sharing-style wedding breakfast 🍽️
Followed by canapés - honey & sesame pigs in blankets, smoked salmon & cream cheese bellini and lemonade tempura mozzarella 🧀
Then for the evening, our 'trotters feast' and 'all about the beet' street-style dishes 🍟

Of course, our speciality is creating delicious, locally sourced food for your wedding day, and helping you to choose your perfect wedding menu! But, feeding your guests comes with some other decisions too. Have you thought about...

Private Dining: last week at a lovely holiday let in Grosmont 🤩

We had the pleasure of catering these beautifully presented dishes from our Churchill menu, with a dream team on hand 👀 head chef Joe was cooking and Katrina serving, they smashed it!

The three courses 👇🏼
→ Scallops in pancetta, burnt celeriac puree, black pudding, dill fritter and marmite hollandaise
→ Honey-coated duck breast, cauliflower puree, spinach ketchup, charred mushroom, pomme anna potato and pomegranate jus
→ Glazed lemon tart, lemon curd, crushed meringue, raspberry and tarragon sorbet

Last weekend, we catered for the lovely Becky & Matt at the .sheepshed, a gorgeous family-run, relaxed, country wedding venue in the Welsh hills.

This was a wedding with a twist - A great wedding bake-off! 🤩

After welcome drinks and canapès, we served the wedding breakfast - homemade foccacia starters, and for the main, a slow-cooked Herefordshire pork.

Then came dessert and the twist, bakes made by family and friends! We loved this idea and think Paul and Prue would approve too!
