These are so quick to make. Just boil your egg first… a white egg would give you the best colours. Then roll it around in the coloured rice.
As we’re using food colouring, you can also cook the rice afterwards too!
Try mixing colours to get different shades of rice or putting the eggs in different coloured rice bags to layer up colours would create some interesting effects too.
Display them in collections, maybe on a wide plate with our bunny favour bags displayed for your guests.

#makeitwednesday today we’re sharing this easy, slightly messy, wool Christmas tree 🎄
These would be perfect on a side board, coffee table or a centrepiece on your Christmas table.
Try using different thicknesses of wool; mixing 2 colours/types of wool around one tree; you could even use a more rustic string for a different effect.
Decoration could be anything from glitter to beads to coloured diamantés. Try adding a layer of glue to the top and dunking it in glitter for an extra sparkly look ✨
With just a few steps you can have lots of fun with the colours and decoration of your trees. Remember it doesn’t matter what colour wool you use, the glue will dry clear!

The history of gonks stems back to Nordic and Scandinavian mythology. According to folklore, these little creatures, favour colder weather and like to cosy up in houses, where if the family welcome them and treat them kindly then they will bring good luck.
This project is a perfect way to use up old bottles - what better way to recycle ♻️ Why not try making a collection of these gonks in different sizes or with different coloured hats. You could even try mixing up their beard colours too!
Here a bell is added to his hat… but you could add a fluffy pom pom or small wooden bead.
