A busy day yesterday cooking, cleaning, me and the little one went out for a few hours and then came home and spent a good few hours in the evening sorting out the garden.

Repotted some tomatoes plants, the spinach had to be cut and discarded as it wasn’t edible no more. Potato leaves cut as they died, due to the heat.

Alhumdullilah, first strawberry of the season, lots of raspberries growing and eaten, basil leaves taken off, onions were trimmed down, so I’ll be using the greens in dinners & lunches, couple of courgettes are coming through too.

A few roses have come through too and then a good tidy up of the garden.

Then chilled in the garden, such a pleasant evening.

Hello everyone, as you know I’m not catering as much.
I have about 500 - 800 individual cupcake cases.
I’d ideally like to sell them all together for £20, it’s a bargain.
However, I will sell 100 cupcake containers for £5, for a quick sale.
Please message me if you’d like them.
Just trying to recover some money.
I will probably selling other bits, so do keep an eye out.

My happy place, on Monday evening we brought 4 bags of very large compost bags, by the time I finished in the garden on Tuesday evening, 1bag left.
I spent 2-3 hours on Tuesday evening in the garden potting and repotting my veggies and fruit.

Tomatoes aren’t getting very big, if any one has any tips please do tell.

Strawberries Alhumdullilah are growing, I’m keeping them in pots as usually they get eaten by slugs.

Alhumdullilah my potatoes & onions are growing nicely.

I had to buy some lavender as hubby pulled them all out from the front garden, couple of months ago!!! 😞 wasn’t happy with that!!!

The raspberries will be bountiful soon.
Blueberries won’t see no fruits for a couple years until it takes growth.
Courgette & cucumber plant are coming along nicely.
Basil is growing nicely too.

Last year i brought myself a rose plant, i was ready to throw it away last week as I didn’t think it would bloom again.
Yesterday, I realised it had a little bud growing. I’m so glad I didn’t throw it out.
Just a little note, if you do not like what I post please jog on!!!
As a human being I will show compassion to everyone that needs and deserves it. I will show my children how to be a kind human being, show compassion and give whole heartedly to charity. That will be through volunteering, donations and any other way they can.
Yesterday, all the keyboard warriors came out on my last post.

A few evenings ago I asked the kids if they like to donate to Palestine.

I’ve not asked them in a while,

I never say how much they should donate as I believe they should donate as much as they want with a big heart.

As long as they understand that you give to charity with compassion and empathy to one’s less fortunate than ourselves.

May Allah continue to guide us all in n the right path and to lighten our hearts. Ameen.

If you can donate please do so, there are so many charities that you can help.

Saturday’s have become a cooking/ prepping, cleaning and shopping day now, with working full time.

Yesterday I made wild garlic & basil pesto, Peri peri marinade, Choza palak (spinach from the garden), okra & potatoes, rice & chapati’s.

Pic shown were the left overs after lunch yesterday, so should last another day or so!!!

Late evening I also made chocolate brownies too, I’ll be doing lunch prep on Monday as we have an extra day off!!!

Last Saturday I made chicken curry, Kheema mutter, chocolate twists and then on the Sunday Chapli Kebabs. Those lasted the whole week for the boys lunches!!

Also prepped my own lunches of roasted veg and sweet potatoes and then added what ever protein I wanted during the week.
