My name is Nicola and I am a fully qualified face painter available to hire for birthday parties, christenings, weddings, public events, and more. Based in Petersfield, I can provide my services across Hampshire, and the surrounding areas. I hold a full DBS check and public liability insurance to cover private parties & public events.

Thank you to this evenings host, Sue Mulcaster, for inviting me to help celebrate Beth's special 13th birthday! ๐ŸŽ‰
I don't often do evening bookings anymore, but when Sue messaged me and said her daughter would only have a face painter if 'Miss Cook' did it, how could I refused? ๐Ÿ˜œ Beth was in my Reception class many years ago (obviously, she's a teen now!) so it was so lovely to see her again and some of her other class mates all looking so grown up. UV lights, karaoke, neon balloons, glow sticks, air hockey and of course many a tiktok video made, I'm sure ๐Ÿ˜œโœŒ๏ธ What a fabulous few hours.

I also finally managed to get a photo of my new kit layout. (video reel to follow) The extra lights certainly came in handy for tonight's booking!

A non facepaint related post from me today..

Some of you may remember me posting a few months ago about training for the Great South Run. Well, sadly that got cancelled due to the severe weather. Although the right decision, very sad for all of us who had trained so hard for it.
Well a few days later I found another local event & signed up so that I could still complete the 10miles and keep raising funds for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance. ๐Ÿš๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ’›

And today was the day! I took part in the Hayling Island 10mile road run & I finally got to do my 10miles!

I'm pleased to say I not only beat my previous PB of 1 hour 52min (Great South 2018) but I also smashed my personal goal for today of 1 hour 45min and completed today's 10miles in 1 hour 33mins! ๐ŸŽ‰๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿค˜

I am so incredibly proud of myself and it definitely makes the blisters worth it ๐Ÿ˜…โœŒ๏ธ

Another fun filled party for me this afternoon! ๐ŸŽ‰
Thank you to today's host, Lauren Stevenson, for inviting me to help add a splash of colour to your twins special day, I've had a blast! Lots of unicorns, rainbows, spiderman and batman designs today along with those sparkly tattoos (even the adults got stuck in with all the glittery fun! ๐Ÿ˜)

Now, I would have been heading home to start my final prep for the Great South tomorrow, but sadly it has been cancelled due to the horrendous weather due ๐Ÿ˜” - such a shame as I've been working so hard with my training...
Alas its home to relax instead ๐Ÿ˜œ

Black biro + watercolour inks create such a vibrate combination and I just love the end results.
