Johnny Deviant has a near 30 year career on radio, starting on pirate radio during the 90's and later hosting a variety of radio shows on commercial radio. His approach to music is unconventional, preferring to stray away from popular trends and big-name bands, instead promoting smaller, independent artists and
bands who deserve more recognition. In February 2021, Johnny Deviant joined www.BrokenNeckRadio.com where he started hosting a weekly metal show called 'Deviating From The Norm'. Metal has been at the heart of Johnny's radio career from his early pirate radio days where he hosted a weekly metal show. Deviating From The Norm does not conform to any metal genre and can cover pretty much everything from rock to psychedelic, progressive, black, grindcore and everything in between. As of April 2021, Johnny will also start hosting a weekly radio show on Blind Dog Radio ( https://www.blinddog.club), which will focus on his more experimental musical side. The show titled 'This Is A Journey Into Sound' will focus more on electronic music, but will again, weave through a multitude of styles taking listeners on an auditory trip.
