To name or to number?…..
I personally prefer table names over numbers. Here’s why:
Imagine being on table number 10 vs table number 2 or 3 🙃
Although of course it’s an honour to be invited in the first place, it can feel a little disheartening to be on the last numbered table as a guest. Also numbers are a bit boring in my humble opinion. Perhaps give a personal touch and have meaningful table names. You don’t need to over think it though! It could be as simple as places you’ve visited together or holidays, favourite restaurants, favourite cocktails, landmarks, places on your bucket list, or what about naming the tables based on the group of people you’ve sat together if that works e.g “The party starters🪩” “Childhood friends🤍” “The uni bunch💕” “The drinkers🥂” …(try not to insult any group of people if you name tables by groups) 😅

Grania ( ) understood the assignment and executed it flawlessly. The stationery was timeless and aligned with the colour scheme for C&C’s wedding.

D&N | The first picture is one of my favourite pictures from their wedding day. Captured by 📸 When D&N contacted me, they had already started the planning of their wedding but needed assistance with creative direction. I worked with them to design, style & co-ordinate their wedding. They were so relaxed throughout the journey & I thoroughly enjoyed every step of the process. On the day of the wedding they got to sit back & enjoy the moment. Surrounded by their loved ones. The best part is getting to see it all come together 😍

The bittersweet aspect of my job is transitioning from frequent communication with my clients in the lead up to their wedding, to executing the plans on the day then wrapping up! I work with great couples! I’m also lucky enough to have kept in touch with some of them 🫶🏾

Relax whilst M.R.S acts as main point of contact for the selected suppliers / venue on the day of your wedding. You can have peace of mind knowing that every aspect of the day is being managed and run just as you planned for all those months!

Ceremony Seating Etiquette:

* Walking down the aisle, bridesmaids should have seats reserved on the first row, on the left. Remember to let them know ahead of time where they’ll sit and that their seats are reserved.
* Reserve seats for your closest family and friends. (I’m a fan of labelling the reserved signs with names, to avoid any confusion)
* Logistically, it’s best for any readers to be seated at the end of an aisle
* Not a seating tip, but one to remember for a ceremony: Have some tissues available for any happy tears and some water for the bride/groom & registrars/celebrant.

Extra tip:
While tradition suggests bridesmaids on the left, some couples opt for a mixed-gender bridal party walking down the aisle, which is absolutely acceptable. Consider having them separate once they reach the end of the aisle, with a few going to the right and some to the left. As long as it’s planned in advance and everyone is informed, it works seamlessly.
