UP! Productions had a busy weekend creating, producing, programming and delivering two huge open air Custom House Square shows for AVA and Boiler Room in Belfast.

We chose a centralised stage layout and design that has never been seen before in Custom House Square, utilising the beautiful building as the backdrop, whilst creating platforms for dancers between the artists & the audience for a more intimate dance-floor feeling.

UP Productions carefully created and produced a unique two part event for Californian activewear brand Vuori in partnership with ; introducing and celebrating their brand new-to-the-market fabric and yoga wear - BlissBlendTM.
We created a 4 storey ‘House of Bliss’ in the heart of Soho, with 5 unique sessions for 100 invited guests including media, influencers and key industry. Across 90 minutes, guests experienced guided pilates classes with , a guided meditation with , aura reading by and carefully created food & refreshments.
This was followed by a consumer event, completing the London edition of the 3 part BlissTour, previously in NYC and LA.

{PAIRED} is an exciting collaboration between UP Productions, AVA and Carousel where food, music and experience overlap.
The idea is simple: pair the world’s most exciting chefs with the most respected DJs and musicians and watch as the magic unfolds. Each pairing is a one-off, completely unique to that time and place and the audience who’s there to experience it.
Our next game-changing collaboration brings together Japanese culinary icon, Yoji Tokuyoshi, and legendary broadcaster, DJ and record collector, Gilles Peterson, for another epic Chef x DJ pairing.
This time we’re heading to The Corner at Tate Modern, home to the world’s most exciting modern and contemporary art.

IMMERSE is an all-new 360 audiovisual stage, designed by us, and brought to life at All Together Now in partnership with Smirnoff.
A fully immersive experience with visual art, lighting & production created by AVA, and realised by Visual Spectrum and featuring artists such as Ben UFO, OR:LA, Mano Le Tough, Pretty Girl, Sam Alfred and many more across three nights of dancing at ATN in Waterford.
This was our largest festival partnership and takeover to date outside of AVA Festival. Going forward, we plan to deliver IMMERSE across different environments from art galleries to outdoor festivals, public city spaces & beyond.

10 YEARS OF AVA BELFAST :

A DECADE OF GROWTH, COMMUNITY AND PIONEERING AUDIOVISUAL ARTS - AVA MAKES A MARK AT THEIR FLAGSHIP BELFAST EVENT

It was always going to be a special moment for AVA Festival Belfast as they celebrated 10 years, and the momentous occasion did not disappoint. Bringing together 20,000 guests across the Festival, Conference, After Parties & Fringe Events, plus 70+ local and international artists, hundreds of staff, local creatives and more at the Titanic Slipways - AVA 10 was a testament to the strength of the Irish music community, and those who have worked tirelessly to elevate AVA into a global movement. The theme for AVA 2024 was Unity – and that was felt fiercely across the weekend.

Welcoming big names such as BICEP, Kerri Chandler, Ross From Friends, Horsegiirl, Special Request b2b Anz, Neffa T and Flow Dan and many more.

What links a community together? … shared stories ✨

To celebrate AVA Festival’s 10th birthday, we teamed up AVA with Irish-storytelling sensation Seanchoíche, for an evening of ordinary people telling extraordinary stories, centred around the special theme of “Unity”.

It took place at the birthplace of Titanic, the Pumphouse on Thompson’s dock, an evening of storytelling, laughter, tears and music accompanied by drinks supplied by Titanic Distillers who own a distillery housed in the iconic space.

We bridged four partners; AVA, Seanchoíche, Titanic Distillers & Visit Belfast, to produce an unforgettable event, celebrating the community that lies at the core of the Belfast Music scene.
