Sunday Supplier Spotlight - Claire's Custom Cakes. We work with Claire a lot and she never fails to produce beautiful cakes that taste exceptional. They are so good that Claire even makes our personal family cakes. As many of you know, I love cake - probably a little too much! My personal favourites are the Chocolate Fudge or Cherry Bakewell. Claire does get rather booked up, which is testament to her stunning cakes so if you are still looking for a cake maker do get in touch. Claire's Custom Cakes
Over the next few weeks we will be clearing all of our old stock to make way for some of the new items that we have been busy making so dont panic if you see me selling items. We have been upgrading and adding new stock exclusively for Hockwold Hall which we will be showcasing fully on the 23rd March so pictures will follow ready for our new brochure. What an incredible week at Glebe Barn Farm setting up for Vicky and Ryan. The sun shone for our lovely couple. This has been almost 5 years in the making and was definitely worth the wait. Morning everyone, many know we are imminently expecting a new arrival, baby is rather large and has given some unexpected issues which has caused some delays on admin whilst I've been in hospital which has caused frustrations so I can only apologise. Over the weekend I will be handing all admin over to Vicky who works closely with me on every wedding. (I will be available in the back ground) but this will ensure we are back to prompt replies etc as the admin workload is currently huge. I will be back to normal for April. I hope this is OK with you all. I will be running video calls tomorrow and Monday for anyone that wishes to run through the wedding bits directly with me. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Happy New Year to all of our lovely couples. Apologies I'm late in returning to work this year, many of you know I have 2 horses which are my world and December dealt some devastating news and sadly I've had to say goodbye to my sweet girl a week ago so I've just had a bit of time to process so thank you all for being patient - i know timing wasnt ideal. Saturday saw my daughters 7th birthday - our first event of the year, so here are a few pictures. I will be contacting everyone for a refresh and to hear how all of your planning is going - what better way to start the year! I'll do this in wedding date order so may need a couple of days to get through everyone. I hope you all have a wonderful year filled with happiness and I can't wait for the weddings to begin - also a big shout out to Claires custom cakes, many of you will know this is who I recommend, Claire put this incredible cake together with a very last minute brief from me. The chocolate and salted caramel is an absolute winner! 💗

We provided full venue styling with ceremony arch and sashes in the beautiful Banquet Hall to bring the outside in. The weather was challenging but the day ran smoothly and the sun shone just at the perfect moments. The marquee was dressed in our white blossom trees and our Grace Floral range. The Iced Vegan provided a stunning cake that I was told all had to be cut as it was that good! Gutted I missed out on the taste test and Joe the photographer was really lovely to work with. Congratulations to Kara & Aisling who were married at Hockwold Hall. It was an incredible day with incredible weather to match. We had rain, sun, hail, thunder and lightning just 10 mins before the ceremony. With everyone pulling together the ceremony was able to take place outside under our Chuppah. The weather did not beat us! We provided bouquets in whites and blues and decorated the marquee in a natural theme to match. We worked with some fantastic suppliers which I have listed below. This week, I've had a bit of me time to enjoy my golden boy, Thor. We went off to The Royal Norfolk Show and came home with 1st Place, Champion, 3rd, and a place in the supreme championship. It was the most unexpected, incredible day and an even bigger plus it was midweek! I'm now back to my favourite job, so apologies to anyone who had to wait a bit longer for a reply over Thursday and Friday. I've learnt it's important to have a good work- life balance - pics of more set ups are on their way!
