I love aisle meadows!

They’re concentrated gorgeousness.

Whether colourful or neutral, they add such beauty to the ceremony. And then, afterwards, we pick them up and move them to the ends of table rows, or in a long line in front of the top table, where they look incredible all over again.

This beauty shone it’s light at Katie and Roger’s big day last September. Do you like the colours?

So….very….pretty.

Can’t believe I haven’t about posted this gorgeous bouquet. It was created for lovely Sian for her end of August wedding

The colours are all about celebrating the way summer transitions into the warm, bronzed tones of an Indian summer.

Pure joy shines from all the images taken by of Laura and Rory on their wedding day.

As you might imagine, creating florals in this glorious, autumnal colour palette brought me a lot of joy too. There’s lots of lovely texture in there too from leaves and berries, that gives Laura’s bouquet such uniqueness and interest.

The happy couple’s first anniversary is coming up soon and I hope they have a fabulous first year as Mr & Mrs.

🌸💗 I can’t remember a time when I didn’t feel drawn to flowers. I remember picking treasures from the garden and dawdling my way home picking cow parsley and buttercups. I was also an artist, drawing from an early age, and spending many hours carefully sketching flowers, or painting them with watercolours. 🖌️🍃

Life took me on a different path, and after Uni, I made a career in public relations. I didn’t enjoy it, but heh! everything in life has lessons to teach us. Ultimately I rose to become an Associate Director at a fancy London agency.

When babies arrived, we moved back to the countryside and for the first time I had a garden - a cottage garden at that. I set about starting a cutting garden so that I could pick armfuls of beautiful flowers to fill the cottage with.

Before long I had too many beauties just for me, so I began to sell bouquets to villagers.

One of those villagers asked me to create the florals for her daughter’s wedding in the village Church.

It was quite the challenge, but I loved it! The Church windowsills had meadows, the font was crowned with a huge display, and there was hanging flower globe in the marquee. I knew that this was for me!

And here I am now, 15 years and a gazillion beautiful weddings later, still loving flowers and creating beauty for all my wonderful couples. 💗🌸

As Monet once said, “I must have flowers, always and always”. 🤍💗🤍
