Our Story
Disco is at the heart of what we do, inspired by the 80s love for dance, funky rhythms and feel good vibes, our goal is to keep people dancing, smiling and enjoying life, it’s as simple as that! - and we really play disco, proper all out disco. You can contact us for bookings either via PM on here or emailing: [email protected] LND are a DJ duo originally from Birmingham. In 2014 we started running club nights at The Rainbow Venues in Digbeth. Our disco focused night ran for over a year and gained traction when we started hosting rooms for other brands and supporting artists. We hosted events at Spotlight Digbeth, Rainbow and The Hare and Hounds Kings Heath. In 2015 we won several DJ competitions for Mixmag and Data Transmission, playing at Shapes London and at the Manchester Coors Light Ice bar supporting Rudimental. Later on in the year we supported Bondax, Dusky and Eton Messy on their UK tours. Then we took our DJing brand down to London and started by playing at Brixton Jamm for Shut The Front Door. In the first year of moving down to London we regularly hosted rooms at Brixton Jamm, Queen of Hoxton and played alongside some amazing artists. In 2016/17 we hosted the Birmingham, Sheffield and London Coors Light Ice bars. Then in 2017 we teamed up with Cirque Du Soul for several UK shows then we did a 5 hour set at their El Dorado Festival. We also hosted a stage at YNOT festival and played even more new venues, XOYO, Dalston Roof Park, Oval Space, Off The Cuff, Prince Of Wales, Rolling Stock, Lockside Camden, NTs, all over the capital. In 2018 we returned to El Dorado Festival for a closing set on the Saturday night at the floating stage ‘Treasure Island’, we played more hosts, then through regular hosting parties at Queen Of Hoxton we cemented our disco prowess by become regular spinners at Fever105s parties at Oval Space.
The following year in 2019 we started to grain even more traction, more hosts, more sets and more headlining events lead us to becoming well known in the capital for bringing the disco to the floor. We played once again at El Dorado Festival, this time a prime slot on the Saturday night in the Nest, there is nothing better than playing proper disco, reworks, edits, classics, new and old, a full mix that up flits the crowd, seeing people smile and dance is something we love more than ever.
2020 has been a challenging year for all, but we’ve focused on keeping the music going, streaming every week during the lockdown. Check out our social media for our latest.
