October 2024. Autumnal awesomeness for V&J - captured beautifully by 🧡🌾

When I first met V+J I was smitten. Couple crush incoming… Their approach to wedding planning, life in general, their whole VIBE. I knew I had to be their florist. Thanks V+J for choosing me.

We combined lots of gorgeous fresh and dried ingredients from , , .vanvliet_glasgow and .

We created a scent profile to surround this special couple with the full sensory experience, choosing ’s Father Figure perfume, with fig and cassis- sprayed into terracotta discs hidden in amongst the flowers. And yes the dried leaves in the ceremony byre are intentional. 🍂

One to One.

Did you know I offer lessons? And I travel?
Probably not as I don’t talk about it!

I adore these images from the awesome , taken at a one to one teaching session last Summer with .donnellyx - a natural at holding and spiralling stems.

I gathered lots of dahlias from and headed off down South. Closer to our location - Joy and I visited , a local flower farm, who provided more buckets of gorgeous flowers for our class.

Thanks Joy and Kate for a really great afternoon, and I was one happy teacher being able to use such wonderful seasonal materials- we went at an easy pace, learning how to spiral stems in a bouquet.

Head to stories for more- including the travelling library of flower books that comes with me.

✨📚

Please email or message if you would like to arrange a teaching session, either in a small group or one to one. Each can be tailored to your ability and desired results. 🫶🏻

I don’t post for months and then double post..All because this photo of Emma’s bouquet + the confetti must have its own grid spot.
The ingredients list was a colourful medley of Spring flowers- peonies, ranunculus, tulips, sweet rocket, orlaya, poppies, lily of the valley and anemones plus more. A joy to make. Even bigger joy to see your gorgeous friend carry it.

Thanks to Alessandra for the brilliant photo. đź’•

This time last week…
What a treat to create flowers for E+D’s wonderful wedding at .

We gathered lots of colourful Spring flowers for this special occasion. Love it when the sweet rocket is in bloom. More meadow troughs please!

It’s not just something I say lightly, every wedding we get to create flowers for is special.

But when it is for friends, and also for one of my dearest friends, one that has been a supporter, helper and encourager of Flowermug from the very beginning then an extra layer of meaning is added.
