It's no secret that volunteering at Scouts is one of my greatest passions. As part of my District role, I also serve as a Trustee at Lees Wood campsite, which is jointly owned by Watford North Scout district, another Scout district, and a Girl Guiding Division.

To keep things running smoothly and continue shaping the future of Lees Wood, we are currently looking for a Management Committee Chairperson. This vital voluntary role helps oversee the operations and ensure everything is in order.

While this position doesn't require you to become a trustee, there is some training involved regarding Safety, Safeguarding and a DBS. If you're passionate about supporting outdoor activities for young people and would like to contribute your skills, please reach out-I'd love to discuss the opportunity with you!

Fun fact: I had a meet & greet here, last year, with a couple who had booked me for their wedding!
