Happy New Year, and welcome to 2025!

We are so very excited for all that 2025 has in store for us here at Colonnade Florist, but before we jump straight in we wanted to take a minute to reflect on the year just gone.

And what a year it was! It's not until I looked back through my camera roll that it really sunk in how much we achieved as a business in 2024; from moving to a new studio, another record breaking wedding season, winning the wedding industry awards and so much more!

We are now closed for Christmas! 🎄🥂

We have officially put away our scissors for another year here at colonnade florist, and are now closed until Thursday 2nd January 2025!

Thank you so much to everyone that has supported us this year, either by buying flowers from us, working with us on your wedding or just by following along and supporting our social media- we couldn’t do this without you!

We are so excited to see what 2025 has in store for us, merry Christmas and happy new year to you all!

The awards ceremony is at the end of January, and we are so excited to meet all the other incredible finalists- wish us luck! 🤞🏻

I can’t believe I’m saying this but WE WON! 🥳🥹🥂

Last night we won Wedding Florist of the Year for the Southeast in the wedding industry awards!!

We’ve been riding the high of last years win all year, but truly never in a million years thought we would win again this year, the other florists in our category are all amazingly talented and we didn’t think we stood a chance! Unfortunately neither of us could make the ceremony, so when I got a call last last night from Sharon to say we’d won, I raced down to the venue in an absolute daze to pick up the trophy (not at all dressed for the glitzy awards show!)

We are completely over the moon today and really blown away- this award is particularly special as it’s voted for by our couples from this last year. Thank you so much ti everyone who voted for us, I can’t say how much this means to me 🥹 Sappy post over, now it’s time to get stuck into planning for next years wedding!!

Ruby 🐾♥️

If you have a dog and you’ve worked with me for your wedding flowers, you’ll probably know that I go absolutely feral for dogs at weddings, and Ruby played her part as bridesmaid so beautifully that I couldn’t not give her her own post!

She looks so gorgeous in her flower collar, working the crowd and doing her job under the care of her dog chaperone 🐾
