🌿✨ We are SO excited to announce a day of Artful Creating! Join us as we explore the theme of connecting with Nature and discover how mindful creating can help you connect with yourself.

On this special crafting day, we'll immerse ourselves in wellness and sustainable creativity through activities like:

🌸 Nature printing on fabric
🌼 Making paper embedded with wildflowers
🐦 Creating vintage teacup bird feeders
🎨 Decorating trinket dishes

We will provide a healthy 2 course lunch and refreshments and of course some cake! and all of the materials you need for the day.

Let's do a throwback to these beauties! I love looking back at photos, it reminds me of all of the beautiful projects I have done and makes me feel so much gratitude.
I'm very thankful for all of my industry friends who support me everyday. We are creative souls and need to be surrounded by creative minds who just get you.
As my business takes a direction to being more elite and smaller amount of clients, I am looking forward to having some much needed time to explore more, I love traveling and the freedom it brings.

Here's a quick pic (taken by me) of a new cake design.
I wanted to experiment with my leaf formations and wilder flowers inspired by fluffy ranunculus. I love the results... It's still elegant right!
The colours of sage and ivory are a beautiful trend this year and look forward to experimenting more.

Sunday reflections....
It's really difficult at the moment for small business owners... It's another uphill bump that we all don't need ... Yes it's the elephant in the room ... Increased raw materials and energy costs. A cake maker I know recently worked out that a wedding cake is actually costs 53% more to make than last year! We will of course do our best to absorb any additional costs but it will inevitably lead to higher quotes. I have had to increase my prices by approx 10-20 %
We will get through this I'm sure, how many more challenges can we face..... I know it's something all of the wedding industry is facing. I really hate this part of running my creative beautiful business.

Hello February! Wow where did January go?
After a difficult year I wanted to try and make January a good start. My goals were self care, after trauma it's so important to be kind to yourself. It started with getting yoga into my fitness routine, something I have put off for years..always too busy, rushing and doing.... Get me? Omg why did I wait! It calms you, it grounds you and you actually feel like getting more done. My other goal was to learn something new and my sewing class is amazing! I've also enrolled onto vegetarian cooking classes! They start soon.
But most of all I wanted to push myself and launch my subscription Master Class box! Yey I did xx took courage putting it out there and omg thank you! I can't wait to get started!! February I'm ready for you!

Heartfelt thank you ....
Words can not express the gratitude I have for all of the kind words, messages, gifts, flowers and your patience whilst I had a break after losing my lovely sister.
I'm back, still easing back in but feeling excited about the year ahead and sharing projects and weddings from last year too.

What a lovely start to the year xx

Two bunnies... Why?
I want to tell you a story about a dream I had many years ago where a man appeared at my door with two baby rabbits. He said you need to care for them and he left. Shortly after this I found out I had two beautiful sisters I knew nothing about. Families are complicated and I'm sure I'm not the first to say this. So these two bunnies have stuck with me, they symbolise my love for them. But sadly how do you say good bye to someone who you don't want to ever say goodbye to? How can we truly ever say goodbye to love, you don't. We have lost a very special, brave, courageous soul who has taught me more in her short life than she will ever know. A determination that is the core of you, to hold that tight and never let go of who you are.
Diabetes is the enemy here, a chronic illness that has taken my baby sister way to soon and a double wrench of not knowing her as long as I would have liked. What a beautiful angel you are and rest in peace little sis xx
I will be taking a break until the new year, please be patient, I will respond to emails etc when I can X
