It's our last day onsite in Visit Sherwood Forest. Longbow archery and axe throwing alongside our catapult castles. Open 10am-4pm.

It's the final day for archery and axe-throwing for this summer at Sherwood Forest today.

Fireside Events LTD will be open at the Major Oak green from 10am this morning and it's just £4 for six arrows or five axes!

Don't miss it...or you'll to wait a little while for them to return. 🪓🏹

Great day today in Visit Sherwood Forest for Nottinghamshire Day. The Robin Hood Festival continues tomorrow as well

Uh-oh! Look who it is.

It's only them meddling Medieval Maniax!!

They've been back in the Forest today and they'll be back again tomorrow too - the final day of the 2024 Robin Hood Festival.

Find them at the Major Oak, where we also have historical re-enactment from the College of Chivalry knight school with La Garde Ecossaise Du Roi and archery and axe-throwing with Fireside Events LTD, not to mention storytelling from Jim Munro and Robert of Wentbridge.

Meanwhile, back at the arena, we'll have The Sherwood Outlaws with their two-part show, Go Active Falconry - The Bird of Prey & Conservation Centre

There'll be music from Sloe Gin and magic by Nathaniel Bagshot, and general silliness from Simple Tom.

It all starts from 10am and ends with the Grand Finale at the Major Oak at 3.45pm.
