LIV + ANDREW ⚡️

One of our favourite weddings we've had the pleasure of photographing was back in May, where Liv + Andrew had their beautiful wedding at Yeldersley Hall. So relaxed, plenty of garden games and perfect weather too. As you can imagine, we listen to a LOT of wedding speeches - this wedding had SIX, yet every single one was brilliant. We left in such a wonderful way, being around the nicest group of people and couple to work with and a venue we fell in love with, too! 🥰 The prints from this wedding also arrived today, looking forward to packaging them up this week.

22 frames from Claire and Bens wonderfully intimate ceremony and city wedding. We spent the afternoon exploring their favourite place - York - where they met. These two booked me in TWENTY EIGHTEEN - but after postponements and a whole bunch of plan changes, they finally had their special day!!

STILL catching up on 2021, as mentioned we won't be sharing them all as we want to start showcasing the awesome weddings of 2022! We are way into wedding season here 😍 Couldn't finish off last year without sharing this beauty of a wedding though. Autumn colour palette, a hanging floral ladder, the bridesmaid dresses and the loveliest people. You can check out the rest of 2021 on our highlight video that we do at the end of every year, but from now, we'll be sharing TWENTY TWENTY TWO 🥳

Our 2022 season officially began on Saturday... BUT we still haven't caught up on here with last years!

We've decided we can't share every single one (although, if you want to see some we post all of our couples on Instagram!) so we're going to pick a few favourite weddings to share over the next few days from last year - before making a start on what 2022 is offering us (spoiler: our first wedding of the season was incredible)

Some from Olivia and Nathans gorgeous wedding at Wood Farm at Everdon - Wedding Venue (a venue we really want to shoot at again now, its a natural light photographers dream!) including their gorgeous doggo, smoke bombs, sparklers and some really special moments ✨

This is a long post because I just have to share two emails we received from them after the day.

After we sent over the previews:

'I just wanted to say the hugest of thank you’s to the both of you as you surpassed all of our expectations on our wedding day yesterday. We had the most amazing day and both of us agreed that the two of you went over and above with everything. From helping to organise people in to the right places at the right time (including the two of us), helping to get props and collect bride essentials whilst getting ready as well as sorting out the groom and his men for the best pictures ever - and the preview you’ve sent this morning is only 30! If these are just a selection of the pics from yesterday I can’t even imagine how the rest will look. You both are amazing at what you do and I would recommend you in a heartbeat to anyone wanting photos taken by a down to earth, super organised and super efficient pair, which will result in photos to treasure as much as the time taken making the memories themselves. Thankyou again for absolutely everything. The reassurance, the veil tips and even being part of the extended bride squad!'

And then after we gave them the full gallery:

'Well what can we say!

You have both captured so many happy memories for both of us as well as all of our guests on our special day. There are pictures of moments we will treasure, pictures of all of our loved ones, pictures of moments we would have otherwise missed and pictures that have helped us relive the excitement and joy of the whole day all over again.

You are both incredibly talented and so good at what you do. You became invisible on the day to capture so many natural shots that only true professionals can do. No one felt awkward or posed and that shows in every image you’ve shared.

We would recommend you in a heartbeat and in fact already have to some strangers on a train who we overheard talking wedding planning yesterday!

Thank you both so much a million times over. You truly are the best at what you do!'

If there was one thing 2020 taught me it was that small weddings are AWESOME! On the last day of August this year, Charlotte + David got married with their 6 closest family members and adorable dog, Marley at Fawsley Hall Hotel & Spa! The most emotional ceremony I have ever captured and one of those weddings that makes me feel majorly lucky to have this as my job ✨
