Wow!! What an incredible day!!! The organisers deserve a medal for the work that they put into today’s Patna Extravaganza!!! Safe to say all the children and adults had an absolute blast!!!

As usual I hardly took any pics 🫣 but here’s the couple I did take.

What a wonderful bunch of children! All beautifully mannered and very respectful - a true credit to their families and an utter joy to twist for!

Always so incredibly grateful to receive pics from parents. This handsome guy was my very first customer at the Wemyss Bay Gala Day a few weeks ago. He was getting his face painted by the fabulously talented The Queen Of Arts and I decided to make a matching balloon for him 🦄 He was such a star 💫

What a fantastic day yesterday for Darvélo. Great job done by the team in organising such an amazing event! We had such a blast!! Lots of impromptu Minion madness! Great fun singing and dancing - the kids were all truly amazing!! Particular thanks to Ruby and her two wee pals who were an utter joy - even offering to get me drinks to stay hydrated and came back to offer a hand to help me load up the car. Well done to their parents for raising such lovely girls. Thanks also to my own little trooper, Tegan, who, along with her wee bestie, Tia were a huge help during the magic show and our mini dance fest!! Today I’m broken and must endeavour to rest and recover as there’s not a single part of me that doesn’t hurt 😢 I love what I do and wouldn’t trade it for the world but it doesn’t half take it out you 😳 Old age doesn’t come quietly 😂 Special shout out to my beautiful friend Linzi Wright for tirelessly painting faces all day!! Super talented artist and always a pleasure to work alongside - love ya gal!!! ❤️

Today’s gig was sponsored by Imodium …. Without which I couldn’t have gotten through the day!! Thank goodness for the smiles of these amazing kiddos who kept me occupied for a gruelling 6 hours in the blistering heat 🥵 and the incredible smiles they gave when I gave them their balloon creations 🥰 (not to mention the kind hearted mum who kindly got me a slush puppy which was most gratefully appreciated 🧊 )

Great to work alongside yet another wonderfully talented painter, The Queen Of Arts!! Who I can highly recommend 👏🏻

Had the best time entertaining the beautiful Rosie and her friends and family with my balloonacy this afternoon. Here is one of Rosie’s wee friend’s who asked me to make her a McDonald’s Happy Meal … I was relieved when a kid shouted from the bouncy castle “a Happy Meal!” 🥹 so it would appear I pulled it off 😜 😂

What a beautiful venue Ardrossan Whitlees Community Centre is.

What a day!! Cracking weather for the Recovery Ayr Festival today and what an incredible turnout there was for it too! Hardly took any pics but here’s a few I did take! I was gifted a beautiful floral hair and by a wonderful lady who I made a giant multicoloured octopus for 😂 Lost count of how many octopus and turtles I made today 😝

Was great to work with such consummate professionals Linzi Wright 🎨 and Douglas The Magic Clown 🤡 and it was a joy to see Gemma Smith, Shelayne and Freddie - their surprise visit literally made my day 🥰

Such an amazing weekend! Got to work at the day job on Saturday running a Production Shift and took 5 mins to make some balloons for one of my hardworking staff members kids who popped in to say hi!

Sunday I had the most amazing time celebrating with little Oliver who turned 2 (shown here with my old superhero puppet 😂 ) with his friends and family and entertained them with my balloons and puppets. As usual I didn’t take many pics BUT when I was asked for a kangaroo 🦘 not only was the challenge accepted, I fell in love with it!! So adorable and made completely off the cuff with nothing but a pic of a real ‘roo for reference 🥰

This beautiful little girl is Ava. Ava lives in the small town I work in, Mauchline. Ava was diagnosed with stage 4 Neuroblastoma in January. This is a very rare and difficult to treat cancer. My wonderful friends at The Dumfries Arms Hotel, Kirsty Miller and her amazing Team are raising money for Ava's much needed treatment.
