Our ethos has guided us to launch our own hire catalogue of chic and contemporary pieces named ‘The Collection’ which inspires modern and distinctive event design and styling. Basically – if you love detail, design and a damn good party, we are going to get along just fine! Blonde Army whole-heartedly believes love is love and is entirely inclusive

Merry Christmas you gorgeous bunch 🎄🫶🏼🥂

2024 has been a truly incredible year and I’m so grateful to my clients past, present and future. It’s been an honour working alongside some of the industries best and am already looking forward to what 2025 has in store for us all.

I wish you all a well deserved break, good food and wine, love, laughter and joy.

I am so ready for a good break to ensure I return with full energy and creative inspiration to enter 2025 with vigour & passion.

There ain’t no party like a garden party!

Would you believe that S & A’s wedding took place right in the middle of the terrible storms back in September, so we had various back up plans and actions in place….

However, luckily on the actual wedding day the sun shone and we could host their ceremony and reception outdoors and fulfil our couple’s wishes.

A marquee wedding at home is a quite the operation and having a skilled and knowledgeable team in place to make everything happen is key.

As well as making your wedding beautiful and unforgettable, my role is to trouble-shoot, impart my knowledge from build through to de-rig, oversee logistics, advise on suppliers and how everyone works together and what roles they take on.

Although we are entering into a slower season, we are still busy behind the scenes as plans and designs are being dreamt up & compiled for our gorgeous 2025 weddings next year....

My design process is always considered and I’m always conscious of these 5 things:

- Combining textures -it’s actually the way something feels, like the quality of a napkin that evokes memory. Combining materials also offer interest and depth and an elevated look and feel.

- Focal moments and dwell points - are there moments in the day that need dressing & will be enjoyed by the guests? If not, don’t allocate budget there but put it towards something that is.

- Harmony & consistency throughout the day - is the story continuing & unfolding throughout the day- even through the little details?

- How we can personalise elements - this may be through stationery goods, bar list, music choices, decor details

- Have we achieved something fresh to make it unique to the couple?

H & J | Too many stunning shots… 10 frames isn’t enough

H & J had an intimate ceremony followed by a cocktail hour with select guests before arriving at their chic wedding reception to dine and party.

I supported the couple with refining their overall design to include designing their stationery which we worked on collaboratively with . We decided a calla lily would be the motif and used this in various ways across the design and florals to create cohesion & harmony. Dark linen napkins contrasted with the peach tones to present something chic, moody, elevated and refined.

A stunning example of less is more when everything is considered and thoughtful.

I’m Lianne, the founder and creative director here at Blonde Army and it’s an honour to support couples plan & design their wedding day.

My personal design rules when creating fresh design concepts for my couples and clients:

1. Layering

Find ways to add depth and levels to your tables to add interest and prevent everything feeling flat. Layering plates gives height and a platform to display your beautiful stationery.

Floral design can have a huge impact here too.

2. Texture

Even with a monochromatic colour palette you can create intrigue and a fresh perspective by introducing texture and mixing materials. Subtle glassware can spread the light across your tables. Think about your plateware, napkins, table linen and of course your florals.

3. Unique difference

Try and find a way, true to you, to add your personality. It may be as subtle as a bold font colour on your stationery. Or something more obvious by adding ribbon or bows, fruits, speciality candles or custom shape stationery.
