Some days it's all about friends, a field full of wild flowers, a fire pit and music..
When like minded souls gather, magic happens.

I am very privileged to have many wonderful people in my life and to be able to spend time with them.
I have been so busy these last few months, healing from an injury and traveling up and down between London and the Midlands with my commercial work, as well as prepping for upcoming weddings all over the country (I'm in Devon on Saturday 😳).
So this past weekend away from the hubbub, reconnecting with self was just what my soul needed.

I also had the privilege of doing a shoot with my beautiful and extremely talented musician friends Lucy and Francesco and will post more of their photos as soon as I edit them.

It was lovely to be back at Karma Salford Hall today, capturing Arri and Sophias' Nikah ceremony. We could not have wished for better weather and the sun shone as brightly as the couples smiles.

Lisa and Eddies day at the spectacular Ettington Park Hotel in Stratford Upon Avon

This couple and their guests were non stop fun from start to finish. I could quite easily do three separate blogs about this day and the photos we shot – One would purely be featuring Lisa’s dance moves!!.

Ettington Park really is one of my favourite venues, with its history, beautiful architecture, rambling ruins in the gorgeous gardens and not to mention 'ghosties' that many have seen and tend pop up around the hotel and ruins.

Malmaison Oxford steeped in its dark history, with its quirky fixtures, nooks and crannies makes for the most unbelievable atmospheric photos, right in the middle of a bustling city.

Moody skies and soft light inside and out made this wedding day a dream to photograph. We had so much fun and the laughs were non stop from beginning to end.

Under Moroccan Skies...
There is something very special about the skies of North Africa..
The light and shadows are constantly changing and I was mesmerized by the contrasts in colours and textures.

It has been pointed out that I have been very quiet on social media and the question was asked recently if I was still active in the photography world? The answer is, yes I am most definitely still shooting and very active.
Its not that I haven't been photographing or very busy with commissions and jobs; I've just fallen out of the habit of posting or even logging into my social media accounts. (Which with my old marketing head on, I know is terrible for visibility and advertising).

The last few years have brought changes professionally and personally and I have been very lucky to have had the opportunity to take on a lot more commercial work, as well as shoot a number of NDA private weddings and events.
This is all with balancing the running of a full time clinic and therapy centre with my lovely partner Andy.

So, to sum up.... Yes, I am still alive, kicking, shooting and editing! I have given myself a good talking to, and have put posting and sharing my work back onto the priority list.

I am going through the process of changing logos, updating the website and generally blowing out the cobwebs.

This year is going to be a fabulous year of doing more of what sets our souls on fire. x

The final push today to get this latest edit done.
After a slightly wonky and busy weekend (food poisoning from a Harvester breakfast waffle of all things), an open day and a soundbath. I am fully prepared for the photo editors 'numb bum' to set in today.

On the plus side... I've gone off waffles which will do marvels for my waistline... 😖 🤷🏻‍♀️
