টেনিদা র পটল ডাঙা ,আমাদের ঠিক যতটা ভালোবাসার ঠিক তেমন ছোটবেলায় দেখা মিষ্টির দোকানের শোকেস এ সাজিয়ে রাখা এই মিষ্টি টা। ওয়াটফোর্ড এ এর থেকে বড়ো পটল আর পেলাম না তাই এইগুলোর পেটেই ঠেসে কাজু-পেস্তা -খোয়া ক্ষীর ভরে বানালাম পটল মিষ্টি।

অনেকদিনের আমার ইচ্ছে ছিল মায়ের ছবি দিয়ে মায়ের হাতের কোনো প্রোডাক্ট মার্কেটে আনার ,যেটা তে থাকবে সাবেকি আবেগের ছোঁয়া, যেটা হবে বাজারের প্রিজারভেটিভ দেওয়া প্রোডাক্টের থেকে শতগুন ওপরে ,যার মধ্যে থাকবে রোদে জারানোর সুগন্ধ এবং যেটা খেতে খেতে অনায়াসেই ফিরে পাওয়া যাবে আমাদের শৈশবের পুরোনো স্মৃতি ,এইবারে পুজোয় আমি তা করতে পেরে খুব খুশি। আড্ডা র ষ্টল এ অনেকেই কিনেছেন , কিন্তু তখন সময়ের অভাবে স্টিকার লাগানো হয় নি ,তাই পোস্ট করার সময় পাই নি। আজ করলাম …

Last week details-

Thank you Tagoreans society ( especially Jayanta da 🙏and Sujoya di ❤️) to give us the opportunity to serve guests at such a prestigious occasion, our team feel truly blessed.We received wishes, blessings and love from many elderly persons and this meant a lot.Also when some of the guests visited me in the kitchen and was queried -“are you Sharmi, we thought you would be a much older person, as your age does not quite match with the traditional food that you cook”😀.
Sharmi’s Kitchen also catered to Pameli’s party and postal deliveries along with the usual takeaways business.
I am really sorry to those messages that I could not reply to . Thanks everyone for their enormous support ❤️❤️🙏🙏

কি রেসিপি দি ? দাড়া তোকে পাঠাচ্ছি ,বেশ তারপর দেখলাম শুভজিৎ ভট্টাচার্য এর লস্ট এন্ড রেয়ার রেসিপিএস -এর শুভজিৎ বাবু র মা এর হাতের মটন গড়গড়ার রেসিপি। ব্যাস আর দেখে কে ,সব সময় একরকম রান্না র ফাঁকে যদি একটা নতুন কিছু আসে বেশ আনন্দ হয় , শিখেই ফেললাম শুভজিৎ বাবুর মা র রান্না , রান্নার সময় মনে হচ্ছিলো কত আদর যত্নে স্নেহভরে এই রান্নাটি করতেন ওনার ভাইদের খাওয়ানোর জন্য। অনুসূয়া দি তুমি ইনসিস্ট না করলে হয় তো হতো না তাই অনেক আদর তোমায় ❤️তার সাথে ,অসংখ্য ধন্যবাদ শুভজিৎ বাবু 🙏,এতো সুন্দর একটি সাবেকি রান্না আমাদের উপহার দেওয়ার জন্য।

তালের বড়া-

“মেয়ে খেতে প্রচন্ড ভালোবাসে ,তাই কি আর করা”-মা বানালো। আগেই বলে দেই ,এটা কিন্তু বোতল এর তাল দিয়ে করা (মৌমিতা আর শাস্বতী তোরা যদি সেই দিন আমায় তালের বড়া না খাওয়াতিস , তা হলে বোতল এর তাল সম্পর্কে ভুল ধারণা টা আমার ভাঙতো না 😃) .
বোতল এর প্রতি টান থাকলেও 😝এই তাল এর ব্যাপার এ আপোস করতে চাই নি , কিন্তু সত্যি বলতে খেতে খেতে প্রাণ টা শান্তি পেলো আর তার ওপর মা ❤️এর হাত এর স্পর্শে বোধ হয় ,স্বাদ টা দ্বিগুন হয়ে উঠেছে।

Sharmi’s Kitchen invites everyone to the auspicious occasion of Anandamela, we will provide a bunch of tasty surprises as part of the experience and we are honoured to be part of this event.We look forward to see you there.

The Tagoreans are delighted to invite you to our upcoming ANANDA MELA - Festival of Joy.

As always, we will have a number of stalls selling a variety of items including exquisite sarees, elegant jewellery, traditional handicrafts, popular books and magazines, beautiful henna art, irresistible culinary delights and an exciting cultural programme!!

And on top of it - we have an exciting raffle with a range of gifts for the whole family - all in all a day of sheer fun and entertainment for the whole family.

Last week business details-

Shami’s Kitchen team put their heart and soul to make last week successful and for our customers to appreciate all the hard work that goes into a large party catering.
While Sharmi herself was rushing to cater to beautiful Sudipta di’s ❤️party having been recommended by the gorgeous Jayati di ❤️( tomar moto nikhut cake baker jodi recommend kore tobe nijer proti nijer gorbo hoi❤️). At the same time other team members were travelling to Anushka ❤️and Abhi’s 🙏palatial residence for their daughter’s birthday party.This was very good practice for us before Durga Pujo as warm up😀😝 for ADDA.
