This isn’t the typical type of photo I usually take, but our bride had such a lovely, big floofy dress that I kind of felt it had to be done. I started with a shot of her alone, I was getting creative and flipped the photo to make it look like she was floating in a cloud!
Then I added her partner, but I saw there was potential for even more! So, I chucked all the bridesmaids and groomsmen for good measure. I think we ended up with quite a fun photo!

What an incredible day this was! I was at Redhouse Barn last July, and it was one of those days where you just have to tell yourself there’s nothing else you can do but go with it. This might not be factually correct, but I am pretty certain it was the hottest day of the year! It was scorching!! However, this did not stop anyone. All day, everyone was pumped, full of energy, and raring to go! It was so fun to watch. I loved it!
I will post a few bits and pieces from that wedding over the next few days, but for today, we’ll start with the bridal prep. The photos culminate in the moment when our bride is just about to walk down the aisle. This is a very real moment; the tension and nerves are evident on her face as the doors swing open and she prepares to make her walk toward her waiting husband-to-be. So beautiful!
I also want to mention the amazing job Bridal by Artists did with bringing our bride’s Farrah Fawcett look together. So very cool!!

It was absolutely amazing to witness the traditional Tea Ceremony at Ettington Park Hotel recently. This is one of the things I truly love about my job! The unique experiences and different cultures l am able to absorb. It is endlessly fascinating!! Although I didn’t understand a word of the Chinese being spoken throughout the ceremony, it didn’t matter. I could still deeply appreciate how significant each small detail was. From the meticulous order in which each step was performed to the reverent tone in which it was conducted, the whole process was mesmerising. It was clear that every movement held profound meaning and purpose. Amazing! I felt privileged to be part of such a beautiful and meaningful tradition.

I won’t lie, initially, going into this wedding, I was slightly apprehensive, as it was all planned to happen after the sun had gone down. As a photographer, light is my friend! Haha!
After several conversations with the bride and groom, we worked out how to make this the wedding of their dreams while still capturing the lovely warm glow they were looking for. Honestly, I think it looked sensational! Well done to them! I believe the “kiss” shot was one of my all-time favourites!
Oh, and did I mention that Storm Bert was thrown into the mix too?!

I loved seeing H&L get married at the weekend. It was my first visit Broadway let alone the Lygon Arms. Which is crazy as it’s only down the road! Haha!
When I arrived, I wasn’t ready for how busy the high street was going to be, but they had my back and valet parked my car for me. This made it so I could go straight in and start working. I felt proper posh! 🤣
When I arrived, the bride was a little shy, but by the time I was doing the portrait session, she was totally gung-ho and ready for anything. We even stopped the Broadway traffic and did a few photos in the middle of the high street!
I’d like to give a special mention to Melissa the wedding organiser at The Lygon Arms. We worked together seamlessly to make sure everything happened as it was meant to happen. Thank you! 🙏

What an incredible wedding under the great Cedar tree in the autumn sun! Who would have thought you could have a day like this in the middle of the November!!
We also got to see a maypole bouquet toss…which was beautiful to see.
