Stagecoach Performing Arts Guildford North Providing excellent part-time performing arts training for children aged 4 - 18 years in North Guild

With over 700 theatre schools and more than 40,000 students worldwide, Stagecoach is the UK's largest network of part time performing arts schools for children. Since our inception in 1988, our singing, acting and dancing classes have helped to build the confidence of many thousands of children, as well as providing a springboard for some of the country's leading young performers. Children Aged 6-

18 Years

Your child will participate in the three disciplines of the performing arts in a weekly three hour session. Children are split into three groups of similar ages and study each discipline for one hour in detail. They are taught to express themselves creatively and effectively whilst learning at their own speed. Children Aged 4-6 Years

'Early Stages' will introduce your child to drama classes, dance classes and singing classes in a 90 minute session, split into 30 minute classes. Classes are restricted to 15 children, allowing us to nurture young talent whilst encouraging and inspiring those who might need additional confidence.

At Stagecoach Performing Arts we’re always telling you that we can help children to develop their confidence and creativity - but that’s just the start. Did you know our classes also teach the following skills:

• Problem solving – our students are consistently being challenged to solve problems, such as: how can I portray an emotion through dance? How will my character react in this situation?

• Perseverance – practice makes perfect and our students are always dedicated to giving their best performance.

• Focus – students not only think about their role, but how their role contribute to the bigger picture of what is being created.

• Non-verbal communication – particularly in dance and drama, our students learn to breakdown the mechanics of body language. Finding different ways of moving to communicate various emotions.

What started off as a joke about a teacher number in our termly meeting turned into reality this weekend as half of our team performed on stage and the other half cheered them on as they chaperoned from the wings….what a truly ICONIC team we have ❤️🎤

Our Story

Stagecoach Performing Arts was founded in 1988 and continues to grow as the UK’s largest network of extra-curricular performing arts schools for children.

One of the first extra-curricular children’s performing arts schools in the country, we aim to inspire our students, making a difference in their lives by teaching Creative Courage For Life®.

With 300 Principals and 3,000 teachers worldwide, Stagecoach operates over 650 schools and has a presence in 9 countries including Canada, Germany, Malta, Spain, Gibraltar, Australia, South Africa and China.

Notable alumni are Emma Watson, Jamie Bell, Eleanor Tomlinson, Tuppence Middleton, Tom Fletcher, Dani Harmer, Josh Cuthbert, Danny Mac and Charlotte Jaconelli.
