Sadly, due to wet weather we will be postponing till tomorrow night & to Sunday.

No need to worry though, we will have the ale bar open from 6pm tonight, so do feel free to pop over for a pint of something cold & have a little dance in the rain with us🌧️

WEATHER FRIDAY‼️

Tomorrow’s weather isn’t on our side so we may have to postpone & to Saturday & Sunday instead.

We will keep you all updated first thing but meanwhile cross fingers & toes for the sun & let’s hope for the best!☀️

For those planning on coming tomorrow regardless, do not worry… we will have our Ale bar open, The Crab Shack cheffin’ up & a fully staffed team to see you all!

It’s almost been a whole year since the last Ale & Anchor. Sooo you know what that means… This years line up!!🍺⚓️🎶

This year we’ve made sure we start with big Friday night, right through to Sunday evening. We’ve got a great range of local ales, fully stocked outdoor bars, pop-up cocktail offerings from Pocketful of Stones, children’s entertainment on Saturday & Sunday, and food served from the The Crab Shack all weekend. Free entry as ever, all we need now is you and some sunshine!

ALE & ANCHOR 2023 🍻☀🍽✨

We had a blast, & hope you did too. The garden is just about a hay free zone! Thank you to everyone who performed & those who came & drank the bar(s) dry. Thankfully the weather gods were kind to us after Friday's soggy performance (bravo Mousehole Male Voice Choir).

One thing is for sure, West Penwith knows how to party. 🪩

A note on cups 🍺

The garden is a glass-free zone this weekend. We’re selling Ale & Anchor festival cups from all our bars this weekend. Preferred of course to disposable cups 🚯

It’s festival season, so if you have your own festival PINT cup please feel able to bring and use it this weekend. Some of you may even have A&A or Don’t Wake the Fish ( ) cups from yesteryear hidden in your kitchen cupboards..!

They’re cups for life for a reason so get reusing! ♻️

And we have .co.uk tumblers for wines / spirits / cocktails 🍹

☔🎺WEATHER UPDATE - FRIDAY🎺🌈

It's been a bit soggy today but we're all set up and ready for the ales to flow. Tonight's schedule now looks like...

✅ Mousehole Male Voice Choir WILL STILL be kicking off the weekend at around 6pm this evening. Get on up to support them and bring a brolly or a poncho just in case.

❌ Catman and the Mancats will now be playing TOMORROW EVENING. It's a bit too high risk for the band's equipment tonight. So they'll now be slotting in tomorrow at an earlier time of 6pm.

💳💳 CASHLESS IN THE GARDEN 💳💳

Normally this is a reminder to make sure your wallet is packed with paper bills. Not this year! ❌💷 We're going CASHLESS outside at both the Ale Bar and The Crabshack.

CARD ONLY OUTSIDE (Or phones, or watches, etc.)

This should make life easier for everyone. Unless you've just been visited by the tooth fairy. Or you're a leprechaun.

If you're desperately trying to rid of pocket change, you can swap some for a beverage and a smile inside. Or throw your coins in a pot, water them and watch them grow into an invisible, moneyless tree.

🌟 THE ODD FOLK - Saturday 1 July, 8pm 🌟

It’s been a while but we’re finally heading to a marquee similar to this one as we dust down our instruments and headline ‘s biannual ALE&ANCHOR festival this Saturday. Loads of great acts on over the weekend including our dear friend and quite a few tasty ale’s on offer too. Be nice to see you again. Full band show. 8pm 💙

Opening the festival weekend is the wonderful, the one and only Mousehole Male Voice Choir. They'll be with us from 6pm on Friday, singing and sipping beer.

Our A&A bars are open from 5pm so clock off early and get down to grab a spot on the lawn.
