Looking for a fun, creative, and relaxing activity? Our Rag Wreath Workshops are perfect for:

Wonder where we’ve been this half term?

We headed to Wonderland York, tucked inside the York Train Museum, and it was a total hit for our little scientists and engineers!

Every corner is designed for learning through play, from hands-on science experiments to creative engineering challenges, coding-inspired activities, and sensory maths play. The kids were completely absorbed, exploring how things move, build, and work!

It’s such a brilliant space for sparking curiosity, problem-solving, and teamwork, the foundations of STEM learning, and the best part? They didn’t even realise how much they were learning because it was just so much fun!

We honestly could’ve stayed all day… mine are already asking when we can go back!

I Survived Pumpkin Carving!

When we were kids in the UK, we didn’t have pumpkins, we carved turnips!

I don’t remember carving one myself, but I’m sure we carried one around.

I never saw a pumpkin patch until 2009 in Pasadena. Since then, it’s been amazing to watch pumpkins grow in popularity, though they do get pricier every year!

Samhain or Halloween you cannot deny the pumpkins have took over, bigger, brighter, and much easier to carve.

Now carving together has become a fun family ritual full of memories, and time spent together.

Those glowing jack-o’-lanterns on doorsteps aren’t just decorations, they’re a warm invitation saying, "trick or treat!” and we cannot wait to show off our creations with friends when they knock on the door for Halloween!
