“Come Play With Me” 2024

has created by hand a curious installation using a latch hook and acrylic yarn technique to cover ambiguous and playful frames. To view this in at as part for the MFA SHU degree show is very apt for it will certainly bring about a smile and lift your mood.

From over 4,800 entries and 94 countries, our refurb is one of just 150 interior projects in the running to win. We’re among glorious company in the Restaurant and Bar Interior longlist, alongside 19 other projects from around the world, with only two others in the UK.

You can never be too dirty or too wet
Nor can you ever be too inquisitive

I'm very passionate about getting young people into nature, spotting wildlife and finding natural treasures so my family photo sessions are not just posing about in a beautiful location but also embedded in celebrating nature too - my walks are like little guided tours where I identify local wild flowers, bird songs and I share little snippets of local history.

I am so proud of my client…..

She was adamant in our pre-session consultation that she would not be in the photographs at their newborn baby shoot scheduled for when the baby arrived. I respectfully listened to her fears and showed examples of photographs where I had intentionally focused just on the baby and not the parents and assured her it was possible. I also gently pointed out that these photographs are not just for her but also a gift to the baby who will treasure them once grown up, and left her with a question - who would your baby like to see in the photos?
The day came when they were ready to invite me into their home and meet the baby. I was so surprised that once we were ready to start photographing that she didn’t hand the baby to her husband to get the session going as I had imagined….instead, she confidently overcame any self consciousness and got straight into position and from that moment on, in front of the camera, she continued to be the beautiful adoring mother she is. Thank you so much for trusting me with your vulnerability and giving your all in thees photographs 🤍🖤

This really was an all muck in wedding and we loved it!!

We had a main tent for the performances and dancing…

Happy wedding anniversary ! 😘

Our - A field in Cornwall.

A very special and magical weekend with nearest and dearest all gathered from far and wide.

I’ve so enjoyed looking back from the hard drive at such special memories but now I’m in the wedding business industry I look back and realise that actually I wish we hadn’t asked a friend to do our photography. He was a brilliant professional wedding photographer and did a marvellous job but we wanted him to enjoy his time with us as our guest so we asked him not to shoot for long - just the ceremonies. In hindsight we should have paid someone else to photograph all the details and more of the guests as the fun gained momentum.
And I must also admit after 16 years I still haven’t got round to printing an album. I bought a beautiful album and it still sits empty.
I learnt the hard way that life gets in the way so I urge all couples not to fall into this common trap!
Get a professional photographer.

Agnes in 2015 who has grown up becoming a fantastic illustrator.

I’ve really enjoyed looking through my archives for creating this Instagram account to share with you. So much is unpublished and has only been seen by a few. I wasn’t using Instagram as a marketing tool back then but that has now changed. It’s interesting to see how my core value has remained for all these years - that photoshoots within nature are special for the client as well as myself - I’m combining my love of portraiture and nature in one shot and my clients are far more relaxed and at ease because they are in the great outdoors surrounded by beauty, breathing fresh air and smelling floral scents. Happiness is particularly evident in their body language as tensions are released. 💚🍃🌱

Today is National Working Mum’s Day!!

So here’s to all those wonderful woman who, like me, juggle logistics and emotions whilst striving to be the best at our jobs and at being at our best for the children. It’s not easy I know but ultimately I’ve found it incredibly rewarding.

I’m in the world of teenagers now, I’ve so loved each and every stage of their growth. I’m now mentally preparing myself for the eldest leaving the nest as he gains independence and I can’t believe how time has flown.

I bet you too have noticed how teenagers can be an elusive lot, squirming and awkward in front of a your camera, but it’s so worth building their trust to capture their beautiful little faces before they become adults forever. My sons are exactly this, they’re particularly reluctant and self conscious BUT we worked at their shyness and they allowed me to do a little mini-shoot in the shadows of a nearby barn, I am so so grateful for these pictures, my treasures 🖤
