Trethorne Golf Club was the venue for a performance of the comedy dining evening 'Allo, Allo Basil & Co', presented by 'Kernow Comedy Dining' the comedy wing of the well-known Murder by Appointment themed theatre group.
A sell-out enthusiastic audience laughed and applauded for nearly three hours as the hilarious comedy dining evening unfolded in front of them.
The evening was most certainly a 'smash hit' with a superb menu on offer and the fun that came with it.
Well done the Trethorne Golf Club team and well done to the hard working and superb cast of Kernow Comedy Dining.
If you want comedy....this is a show not to be missed!!

Pre-show run throughs of the script for the cast of 'Allo, Allo Basil & Co' for tonight's comedy dining evening performance at the Victoria Inn.

Another evening of restaurant chaos awaits the unsuspecting audience as the laughter runs throughout the performance. Never a dull moment in these performances that are rapidly gaining in popularity.

Last night the Penventon Park Hotel, Redruth, was the setting for a hilarious evening or chaos and disorder provided by the Kernow Comedy Dining group to well over 100 diners. Laughter from start to finish as the evening unfolded around the show "Allo, Allo Basil & Co'.
Basil, Sybil, Manuel, Rene, Edith & Crabtree & the Hotel Inspector kept the evening buzzing along at high speed. The feedback from guests at the end of the evening was superb. A great evening had by all.

A few months ago following a request from a client the decision was made to add comedy to the repertoire of the successful Murder by Appointment group and Kernow Comedy Dining was born!!
Tonight I was so proud watching my team of actors unfold the very first production of 'Allo, Allo, Basil & Co'.

All of the cast performed their individual roles to the highest standard at the well known Norway Inn, and a special mention must go to our excellent 'Basil'.
A sell-out evening saw both restaurants full with a most enthusiastic audience all craving the fun and laughter that was on offer. They were most generous with their laughter and applause throughout the evening and their written feedback at the end of the was excellent.
The evening was without doubt a smash hit and although MBA will still remain the biggest performer of murder mystery evenings west of Bristol, we already have several Comedy Dining Evenings in our 2024 diary.
Thanks to the hard working staff at the Norway Inn for their contribution towards helping to make the evening such a success and for their excellent menu.

Really looking forward to this coming Saturday night with the Comedy Dining Evening we are performing with our new Kernow Comedy Dining team at the Norway Inn. Both of the restaurants at the Norway Inn were sold out weeks ago so excitement and laughs await ticket holders as we prepare to unleash Basil & Rene with their 'associate characters'.
