Thank you to everyone who donated to “Happiness for a Day”.

I have had a message from the little girls mum which she is happy for me to share with you, along with photos from their day.

Although, for safeguarding reasons I have had to blur out her face, I can promise you there are nothing but HUGE SMILES behind those blurry circles. The message is:

“I just wanted to say how truly grateful we are for Monday. The entire day/night was amazing. I got to see a smile on my girls face that I haven't seen for a long time, I heard her laugh like she's never laughed.

She swam for 2.5 hours, and the confidence was shining from her. We had an amazing meal and the hotel staff couldn't do enough for us. She felt like a princess.

And for the first night in forever she slept, really truly slept. I felt like I got my little girl back and I can't thank everyone who made that possible enough. Thank you so much 😘”

Thank you again to everyone who made this day possible!! I and they are forever grateful!

Massive thanks to Harris & Smith Family Transport Services for taking them to and from the hotel, SP Scents & More for their lovely gift donation and all the staff at The Village Hotel South Leeds for making the experience perfect.

Wow! I am absolutely overwhelmed at the kindness and generosity with regards to my quest!

Thank you to all 21 people who have donated a massive £305! to “Happiness for a day”. They are going to have an amazing day!

The extra money raised has all gone towards treating this little girl by surprising her with gifts in her room when she arrives.

They have been booked into a fabulous hotel with evening meal 🍽️ and unlimited breakfast 🥞 🥓 🥐 They can enjoy time in the hotel pool 🏊‍♀️ 🩱and then back to their room where they can have much needed mummy and daughter time ❤️.

She is a HUGE JoJo Siwa fan and because of you she will now have a fabulous collection!
This includes hair bows, pj’s, dressing gown, kids make up set and bag pack. 🎀

Other gifts include slippers, a swimming costume, jewellery making kit, princess nail polishes, face masks and a 60 piece Haribo hamper (they’re her favourite).

They will be nail painting 💅🏻 having a relaxing face max and jewellery making 💍 because she LOVES jewellery - all whilst stuffing their faces with lots of sweets! 🍬🍬🍬😋

A MASSIVE shoutout to 🚕 Harris & Smith Family Transport Services who have kindly donated their time and services to get them to and from the hotel. 🚕

Another huge shoutout to SP Scents & More for donating a gorgeous personalised wax melt set with teddy and sweets. 🧸🍬

I also know there are people who are close to them that have personally donated. Thank you so much.

I can’t thank you all enough!! I won’t be able to post photos of them but I will update you with how they got on! Thank you ever so much for making their dream of happiness for a day a reality!

Wow! What can I say? This video brought tears to my eyes seeing how happy these beautiful little girls were on Christmas morning!

A wish sent in by mum asking for a LOL Surprise Shadow High Doll for her eldest. We sent 2 as she has a younger sister.

The joy on their little faces makes everything worthwhile. This is exactly what Christmas is all about!

Yesterday we put a notice out to say we had been donated a Turkey and veg and found a lady in need who had been nominated because she puts everyone before herself and does so much good in the community that they believed she truly deserved it.

There was then confusion with the Turkey and we didn’t receive it. So, after a very generous cash donation, we have been able to follow through with our promise and helped her day be that little bit extra this year.

What a great way to end the weekend!

An update from the beautiful family who wished for a Christmas experience and I gave them a full weekend Christmas experience. It sounds like they had so much fun and memories were made ♥️ what Christmas is all about 🎄🥰

The last 24 hours have been a whirlwind not only for me but for a family in need.

As you know I ran the wish promotion which ended on the 10th December.

After this, Magical Gift House was tagged in a post made by a friend of a family in desperate need this Christmas. I went to meet the family yesterday evening and the mum and children were so lovely but just needed help and support in their time of need. It was truly heartbreaking.

Mum explained to me how hard times were and was at breaking point, holding back the tears she told me that she thought her children were better off without her. She had no money for Christmas presents and couldn’t afford a Christmas tree. Now, I knew about the tree before I arrived. I brought her a tree and decorations. The children were so excited and wanted to put it up IMMEDIATELY!

So here’s the tree. 😍

With a massive help from again, I was also able to organise gifts for each of the children, their Christmas dinner has been ordered and sorted a heating engineer to repair her faulty radiators.

Her daughters birthday is only days after Christmas. Presents, balloons and banners have been arranged.

I know this won’t solve all of their problems, but if she and her family can enjoy their Christmas Day and mum can feel a little less stressed for even a day then my mission has been accomplished.

Today is a good day ♥️

Today I hand delivered the final wish.

This wish was a nomination. I was contacted by someone who knows this lady (everyone will stay anonymous) to tell me how truly amazing she is and how much she has been through. She would do anything for her daughter and grandsons.

It’s not my story to tell, but this year she may have struggled a little with the Christmas dinner. So, why not take the stress away by giving her a £150 voucher to spend at her supermarket to cover the cost of the Christmas dinner?

With huge thanks to this is exactly what I hand delivered today. She was so unbelievably grateful …. And speechless!

So, on Sunday 27th November I was telling one of the mums at school how I had my Christmas spirit this year and I am really excited for Christmas.

Jokingly she said “I fully expect you to be dressed as an elf on the 1st December on the school run”

So I said if she can raise £100 for a charity of her choice by the end of November I would do it.

She raised £115 in 2 hours!!

So today is going to be………cold 😂
