If you are looking to hone your skills in the kitchen, or show off infront of your friends and family at your next get-together, we are hosting a cook-along session here, in our bespoke training kitchen at our office in Westhill on Friday the 16th August where you will dive into a hands-on cooking experience guided by our award-winning executive chef, Orry Shand, previous winner of Scottish Chef of the Year and Manager of the Scottish Culinary Team.
Picture this: You arrive, you’re greeted with a glass of fizz and delicious canapés. Then, armed with all the ingredients you need, the recipe cards, and your stylish new Entier branded aprons, you step into our training kitchen for a culinary masterclass,, with Chef Orry there every step of the way to ensure you master each dish with confidence, making sure you can take these skills home and really impress at your next dinner.
After you have cooked and prepared a course, you get to sit down and enjoy the fruits of your labour, before heading back to the kitchen to learn the next course. We promise it will be a fun-filled afternoon, with great food and great company.
The cost £120.00 per person, which includes drinks and canapés on arrival, a three-course meal and a culinary cooking masterclass, recipe cards for you to keep, and your very own Entier branded apron. Entier Cookalong with Award Winning Chef

Another week of Fresh Olive training complete. Led by our Executive Chef Orry Shand.
Our apprentice chefs were tasked with making a set lemon curd, with a tonka bean sable biscuit, topped with a strawberry compote and basil sorbet.
Orry guided the chefs throughout but it was up to them on how they presented their dish. Some amazing desserts were plated, well done all.

Incredible work from 4 members of the Entier Family as they cooked their way to victory in the North East Chef of the Year competition, each taking home a medal. Glen Christie, one of our Fresh Olive Apprentices took home 2nd place with a bronze medal in the Seafood Chef of the Year competition. Dean Davidson, one of our Chefs in our events division, Wilde Thyme, and Oliver Redgewell-Welch, one of our Fresh Olive Apprentices both competing in their first-ever competitions for the title of Young Chef of the Year. Dean took home 3rd place with a silver medal and Oliver took home the title of Young Chef of the Year with 1st place and a gold medal. Andrew Clark, Head Chef here at Entier, took home the prestigious title of North East Chef of the Year with a 1st place win and a silver medal. Nick Nairn onboard Valaris JU-121
Last night the crew on JU-121 had an amazing evening which they will remember for many years!
Nick came onboard the Rig yesterday afternoon, once he had been through all the safety procedures and Covid test. He was then ready to meet the team who were all really looking forward to the service ahead with Nick.
Before Nick had arrived the team had been extremely busy ensuring the preparation for dinner and tables were set ready for the crew to arrive.
To make the evening that bit more special for everyone, dinner service was served to the table where we had non alcoholic beers and our Entier tartan runners. Once Nick had gone through the finishing touches for each dish, the team were ready to welcome the first sitting at 5:30pm, followed by another sitting at 6:15pm then 7pm. In between each sitting the team had to ensure that the tables were turned around, reset and sanitized.
The evening was a huge success, lots of social distanced selfies and to top the night off the team received outstanding feedback from all the crew.
