With three other big events happening elsewhere over the weekend, we truly appreciate everyone who chose to join us at this one! What a great party by the river.

This is a great festival that's found its perfect home in a spot downtown that's never been utilised and we couldn't have asked for a better location.

Now in its second year, we're crossing our fingers that Street Food Circus Summer Feastival becomes a permanent fixture on the city calendar. 🤞

4 INCREDIBLE parties at Glastonbury, spinning vinyl for over 20 hours across those magical nights. We’re beyond thrilled to have shared our sound with thousands of music lovers at such an iconic destination and to bring our party to Glastonbury Festival for 2024 was nothing short of amazing.

Every night, we turned up the energy and delivered. The crowd felt it. The bar felt it. We felt it. 🎶 🙌Thank you, Glasto for an brilliant experience and all the people we met ♥️

We just wrapped up another great year at Isle of Wight Festival! As the first one of our summer season, the energy from all of you nice people has left us absolutely buzzing. We've been fortunate to play at this iconic event for many years now and every time feels even more special.

These classic Soul imprints never disappoint but also we're not just spinning tunes, we're spinning art!

Label design has just as much appeal as the music itself, each with their own unique style and logo that screams pure Soul power! These are some top record companies of the time that we love as go-to records and we are still finding gems 50 years later.

When digging, sometimes we go by artist or song title, but most of the time we go by label. We can't resist the classic Stax wobbling pile of records logo or that bold yellow Tamla Motown globe.

With all the excitement of Summer Sessions in town throwing some amazing live music here in Southampton... we're thinking of bringing our famous street party back!!!

4 years of using that space outside O2 Guildhall Southampton for a 100% free, independent one day festival was rare. A brilliant opportunity for the city but not without some risks. We had to apply to to close the street down for starters...now the area is fully pedestrian, way more accessible and we think people would love it.

Southampton Forward has the budget 😉

Thanks to everyone that's picked up our custom 45 x tee recently. Response has been big and it's just a bit of fun for all the 7" slingers worldwide, but you are helping us with a contribution that keeps us going.

Our DJ fees sometimes aren't enough to cover all costs that go into the shows and the rising price of travel/ accommodation means we have to do what any band does and that's sell a bit of merch.

Spinning for the future, we're proud to join 500+ artists/musicians/djs with the Music Venue Trust.

Even though we might not be rocking arenas anytime soon, our commitment to the grassroots scene is just as valuable, and we believe in the power of independent music venues. These are the breeding grounds for new talent, the lifeblood of the scene, and the places where we all fell in love with music. For years we have championed the smaller spaces to give some well-deserved recognition. Without them we wouldn't be here doing what we do.

Music Venue Trust has a simple solution. The success of any one of the artists emerging from the grassroots should ripple down through every layer of the ecosystem. £1 from every arena and stadium ticket sold in the UK would raise over £20 million. This would be enough to fully support touring by thousands of artists. Enough to stop our local music spaces from closing down.

While we remain in the fringes of the music industry, there are things we can do.....we can raise awareness of the MVT, we can encourage the major festivals that book us to donate, we can maintain a health music scene in our city and give back to the culture that made us by making sure we do at least one or more charity gigs every year. ✊

The fact is we can't dj forever, there will be a next generation and we hope to inspire other up-and-coming djs to get into what we do.

We're excited to stand with the MVT and all the incredible artists who are keeping the grassroots scene alive.
