When Steve & Jenny came to see us to talk through their wedding timeline, they said that after the ceremony there was a mandatory stop at McDonalds.🍔🍟

We all agreed we had to get some pictures of this 📸 We even got one of the cashiers involved, throwing confetti over the couple while taking payment for their order.🎊

Such a fantastic day with this quirky couple, which included a striking all green suit for Steve and 2 stunning dresses for Jenny 😍

🖤🖤Leigh & Steve's Cabra Castle Wedding🖤🖤

When body builders Leigh & Steve travelled from Australia to get married in Ireland, little did we know it would be so unique.

My first ever wedding with a black dress, my first ever wedding at Cabra Castle & first boudior shoot on a wedding day.

When brides and grooms are animal lovers, we always make sure to get lovely portraits of their 'fur babies'.

We had cat lovers recently so I said to Ryan, "Make sure you get nice pictures in the morning of the cat with the boys and I'll get the cat with the girls"

half way through prep Ryan sent me a WhatsApp saying 'look at the lovely ring shot I got 😂" and it was indeed lovely, on what appeared to be a cushion - but it wasn't a cushion, was it? 😾💍

It's just as well we got a lovely portrait of each cat for them, although the bride and groom loved the picture of the rings on the cats head more I think 😂

Now that wedding season is getting a bit more manageable, I am going start sharing some of the weddings we have captured.....starting with Sammy & Leigh.

To say their wedding was epic, would be a complete understatement. Working at our favourite place, the Clandeboye Lodge Hotel, with some of the best vendors in the business...it was tears & laughter from start to finish.

-starting with tears at the Dad reveal shot
-tears at the ceremony (sammy that is)
-getting absolutely soaked during the champagne shot
- losing Sammy and having a guest who was dressed almost identically to him, fill in for some of the groom party shots (someone shouted 'when you order Sammy off wish 🤣🤣🤣)
-a crazy mad bridal party of hilarious people
-Hypnotist (oh my word 🤣)
-Singing waiters
- The legend DJ Dave Ralston as DJ in the evening with the lads tops off right after first dances 🤣

🇮🇹Anna & Kent's Sorrento Wedding🇮🇹

I just had to write a blog for this beautiful wedding and couple - Anna even asked Kent to change the date of their wedding when we originally weren't available (she wanted us that much 😮).

I loved this wedding so much, I think we might start accepting more destination weddings 😍

Anna and Kent are tattooists and it was fitting they incorporated a bit of that into their day.

It’s not everyday you get asked to shoot a wedding in Sorrento, but Kent & Anna asked us just that, flying us out this morning to Naples to travel down and capture and their big day tomorrow in Sorrento.

We had the drone out today to check out the scenery and tested out some sunset selfies in prep for the wedding.

Cannot wait until tomorrow - there’s going to be tattoos in the morning, pool jumping in suits/dresses, sunset shots in the town and fireworks to end. ❤️

🌟🌟🌟 PPANI Finalist 2024 - 3 Categories. 🌟🌟🌟

Tonight the amazing Professional Photographers Association Of Northern Ireland hold their annual awards ceremony. I'm gutted as for the first time in 8 years I cannot make it, due to the effort involved in our pending house move 🏡 🔑

On a brighter note, I have got through to the final 5 images in the country for the following three categories.

Wedding Day - Bride/Groom Alone
Wedding Day - Pre/Post Shoot
Portrait - Children

I never take for granted what an achievement this is, given the fantastic photographers competing in the competition.

The final judging is completed and the result will be announced this evening at the event, so I can share the images now.

❤️❤️❤️ Our last wedding of 2023 ❤️❤️❤️

In what was one of our busiest years ever, we finished with a Christmas cracker for Jayne & Leighton's winter wedding.

This was such a glamorous wedding, with laughs from start to finish.

What a great end to the year it was. Hope everyone has an amazing time off over the next few days and New Years ❤️

Who doesn't love a sunset picture? 🌅

During a period of amazing weather late this year, we had 2 weddings in the same week at the same venue. (Clandeboye Lodge Hotel)

If you get a sunset at your wedding with us, please be prepared to be thrown into our car and taken to places like this.

Fee & Steve even left their dessert to go (and they were delighted they did) They got it when they got back though ❤️
