In the summer of 1999, at 16 yrs old and with a year of sixth form ahead, I met for the first time at Penthouse Recording Studio who jokingly told Donavan Germain, “Germain, da yute ya wah dj fi him summer holiday”. This basically signaled the start of my professional journey as an artiste and this summer makes it 25 years. I invite you to join me in celebrating that and all else that we each have to be grateful for, on December 29, literally on the banks of the Hope River. “How could I not be grateful?”
