“Stag in the Woods” 🦌🍂🍁
If you know me, you know I love sharing little stories behind my paintings. So, here’s the deal , I love in Nailsworth, Forest Green, my back garden opens up right into the woods, I'm very lucky I know 😀
One day, I was just out there doing my thing weeding and heading to the compost bin when I heard something weird behind the gate. I thought it was a loose chicken ( Trust me It's happened, haha ) or maybe someone’s cat or dog.
But nope. I opened the gate, and there he was... a full-on stag. We just stared at each other for a second. I was freaked out but also amazed at how close he was. I’ve seen the odd bin badger raiding my bins, but never anything like this! 🦡
This painting is all about that wild moment. And I can’t wait to paint it with you all in our next month.
Also, the crow was paid for the audio, I do not own or copy right this background 😆 😂 Fair play, he timed it so well 👏
